Who will this squad perform best against?

Will Notts only perform well against the weak/poor and the teams expected to beat them?

Newport County are the type of team we should be doing better against, the game was a six pointer and far more important than the Mansfield game. Don't get me wrong, I am happy Notts picked up more points than I expected but at the same time I am worried about relegation.

I think Notts just struggle against teams that don't take their foot off the gas, Newport County played some good stuff and they wanted it much more than Notts.

Notts has done very poorly against most teams we would have thought points was possible, pulling level should have seen a much better game. I felt at that point we would have given them a good game, instead the players argued and the defence just lost it.

Why nobody could just clear the ball is beyond me.

I do feel it's a blip and that the club will be okay, it will go down to the last three games mark my words.

Typically Notts performs better against the bigger and extremely poor clubs, any that fight usually overcome anything we throw at them. It would be nice to think the club could maintain some of the recent form but I think we might become hit and miss.

Every game is a six-pointer now, the squad won't win every game but battling for points needs to be worked on. At 1-1 Notts should have reorganised themselves defensively but this didn't happen and Neal Ardley made no changes until the game was lost.

I know what people are saying and to a point it's very true, it shouldn't matter though.

If Notts works harder than their opposition, Neal Ardley gets the players to adapt better in goals points will pick up. I am keen for the negativity to stay at bay because the clubs riding its luck right now.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

I do get the feeling if the club is considered underdogs and fans feel a result is far from possible, this squad will respond better but for me it's all down to CMS. He's the key because he chases everything.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Notts has to up their game against every team, all the available points at this stage are important. Let's hope a good result today allows people to forget the thrashing Newport County gave the club last Tuesday.
