Jimbo coming back?

Featured Replies

It would see that Jim O'Brien has posted a picture of himself on Instagram in Notts training kit with an "old man" filter, with a remark about pre-season training. So he would appear to be back for pre-season training at least.

If/when the takeover saga is resolved, I hope we get him signed up again. News like that gives me a little bit of hope.

When I first saw the picture, I didn't realise it was Jim O'Brien. I thought it was the old fitness person, I don't remember his name but I think it was Johnny.

O'Brien would be a good signing, he's got a lot more about himself than Michael Doyle.

Much better engine and passing ability too.

It was from that face app that's doing the rounds, where you can see what you'll look like when you're older. But don't download it, unless you think that giving the Russian secret police a picture of your face is a good idea.

Coming back to what exactly?

The club's funeral could be in 10 days time.Β

I'm optimistic today. The takeover will be done, Jimbo will come back and we'll smash this tinpot league.

A complete no-brainer for me, easily good enough for L2 let alone the National League. He can do it all, run, tackle, pick a pass, what's not to like?

If our centre mid options were O'Brien, Rose, Doyle and Crawford. I'd be very happy with that.

Let me know how this does when the 10 days are up. ;)

People have to start thinking more positively and try to find the light. Hopefully Jim O'Brien signs again.
