Ben Turner signs for Buxton

He could prove me wrong, but I am surprised he hasn't retired - coaching would be a good role for him to go into. I can't see him lasting or appering much for Buxton.

It's local to him I think, so that makes sense.

A field where dreams become reality.

Some players don't know when to retire but that's the thing about football, you never want to give up playing. I wish Ben Turner only happiness, it wasn't his fault we continued to stand by him despite his injury issues.

I know he's had his injuries, but it's quite a decline for a centre back who is only 33. Championship to step 7 in 3 years.

Can't agree with the 'not knowing when to retire' line though; he probably still loves the game and a bit of part-time footy to ease the transition could be a good move for him personally.

Yep, even been moved down on google too, an actor who's in Casualty is the first person who comes up now.

I thought he might have signed for another national league side/national league north side surprised he's dropped to them. His lack of pace was probably the biggest issue, he just needed to play in a team that sits deep!

His career is starting to fade out, a better move would be to go into coaching with a team that could afford to assist him with getting his coaching badges. Good luck to him at Buxton but if he makes more than 15 appearances for them I would assume most was as a sub.

A team like Buxton could always do with an experienced defender, he'll be important for them to have around. I actually think its a good deal for both.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
