  1. i pay zero attention, i dont care and there are celebs i do like but i cant say i read about what they do all the time. its mostly when they do something noteworthy, so none of this bothers me because i dont know about it.
  2. i dont mind them but i do think the terrace rush their release just to make money. if they took more time, the quality would be better, but i see many fans wearing them and i wonder why? i would rather see a replica of good quality than something rushed.
  3. when i think of silly fads, i think of people who stream or upload their workouts all the time. something you see every now or then, its fine but every time they go it just becomes vein and pointless. i have seen people do it every day, why? what is so exciting about seeing someone lift weights or use a treadmill? literally any tik tok trend can be added to this as being a stupid fad.

  5. its a big step up and i think he is a decent keeper, i hope it works out for him because its a dream move for any player. if he does well, he may get an international call up.
  6. i dont mind waiting if the reason is understandable, thing is with puma its like notts are a second thought. like i say, i dont mind waiting but it is one of the disappointing things about our agreement with puma. the fact the club does not seem to care, it does make it a bit more frustrating. what can we do though? we are only fans and the decision to sign a new 5 year deal did not seem to have our consideration in mind. i hope the design is worth the wait, i am sure it is.
  7. i dont care that the sponsor on the back is red, tho its nice to see a glimpse of the shirt. it does not reveal much at all.
  8. he knows where we had to improve and has gone about signing good players to fill in those gaps, i think with the players going back to training it does show a lot of faith that hes open to discussing things so early.
  9. its impressive, but we need to keep pushing the sales. i think its going to be a busy season with less games where the club tries to sell out. yet i do think they will try at times. i wonder what the most season tickets have been sold in modern times.
  10. i would imagine chesterfield will be hoping to sign him, so gillingham may have more competitive. i think he proved himself with chesterfield but he does need the right team.
  11. please keep posting these from time to time, @Fan of Big Tone. i think its nice to read something to reflect on.
  12. they sound similar enough, that when you focus on it your brain and ears reinforce what you read. try closing your eyes, that is when it can get trippy. i learned about things like this due to how autism works.
  13. its the weirdest article i have read, it shows that they focus more on putting stories out and not caring about the content itself. just to get people to click but why would people keep going back reading that? i dont read it much since they sacked ollie king.
  14. this is great to see, did it get picked up because it had more hits or something like that? i have never seen pon in my google feed or in google news.
  15. @super_ram glad you are getting out and having fun, dont forget to spend as much time with your 6 awesome grand children. you all going out from time to time will help the healing. when my family members have passed, we all get together and go for a pub meal and sometimes we just have them over and cook something. i am glad you got to do something fun and different.
  16. i dont think you can compare players careers very easily, least not when you mention whos the better player. matt le tissier is one of the players i enjoyed watching when sky shown old pemier league games. he stayed loyal to southampton and i think hes one of the best english players that has played in the premier league. can i compare him to a different player, say like gareth bale? to a degree but it mostly becomes incomparable. paul scholes, frank lampard and steven gerrard are all great midfielders but i dont think opinions can be formed on comparing their careers. i think ability takes over as the important measure but for clubs they can find similar players who fit their system by comparing stats but i always think you will never get a straight replacement. example ruben rodrigues and dan crowley, they wont compare but are similar players. notts has seen crowley as the replacement i believe for ruben, but hes going to be vastly different.
  17. @Chris i have noticed that @Fan of Big Tone signature does not show very well in the dark theme. its black on black, can you work your magic so that it becomes visible without changing it in the light theme?
  18. i am surprised to see him leave and to me i think it looks like it may be a personal decision, i dont think he is the type of manager to jump ship from a steady job. i hope if he is experiencing some personal difficulties he gets the time to sort them and the privacy to take care of his matters. i wish him all the best.
  19. all those juve and newcastle kits look awesome, i like the concept kits that @Chris mentioned. nice trimmings of yellow or gold can make the design seem a bit more different, a bit more classy.
  20. welcome to pon, @NottsCountyKev. its great to have you here.
  21. i use chrome on all of my devices, but they are not using the sync feature. i miss the themes of firefox, you could get some really nice ones which made it different. chrome is great but the themes lack and look all the same pretty much, just different colours etc.
  22. i love horror, i used to watch it with my dad. my mum has never liked horror films, its not the blood or gore but the darkness. shes easily creeped out, so i would watch them with my dad. after they split, i would have regular horror film nights with him. i remember when i was like 10, watching a film about new york i think, it had the underground in and there was murders happening. at the same time the lead character was exploring bugs and insects. there is this boy who plays spoons and i think he has learning problems as i can remember relating to his isolation. i cant remember what its called but it was a human like bug killing and eating people. it looked a bit like the jeeper, from jeepers creepers but a lot more mysterious. final destination, scary movie, i know what you did last summer all great classics.
  23. wayne rooney single handly giving england hope when we were dire, i remember that world cup where he had his best tournament and he played deeper because henderson and carrick i think it was sucked. james rodriguez who did well with columbia in 2014. i remember watching him and thinking what a player, he transformed everton temporarily before he left. romelu lukaku in 2018 for belgium he played very well. i thought he was unlucky not to go further than his team did because he was on fire. denis cheryshev did well for russia, i thought they were really poor except for him. oh their keeper was okay mostly. then i would say sterling who was england best outfield player and seems to have been discarded since.
  24. @Natty thank you for sharing your story with @Chris, i enjoyed this and thought it told a great story of your history supporting notts. the parts about your family and wife, it really made the story standout.
  25. i have loads, i stopped buying them when the price went up to a silly amount. i have not bought one since, i miss the umbro shirts i had when I was and very interested in football. i would like them in adult size. i have one from notts since 06.
