It's positive that they want Ryley back. He did quite well for them last season. It's good that he's going to get lots of game time too. I wish him good luck with this move.

good move, i hope he gains the experience to come back and really push on. if he gets plenty of game time there is no reason why he wont be able to make it in our team. the only thing stopping it is the experience. he has to learn the levels and improve with time, so good luck ryley reynolds.

He did well for them last time, having earned over 25 appearances, but I would have liked to see him given a bigger test. I am sure some Spurs fans interested in their academy might feel like George Abbott wouldn't be worth returning here, despite having a good season. Though I do see the point in continuing success, I just feel a step up to a good National League club would be better.

If we gain promotion this season, he will be two levels behind us in terms of where he has experience, and unless the club is willing to give him that, I just feel the talent he and James Sanderson have will be wasted.

I am not trying to be negative about it; I do acknowledge that Kidderminster will give him a good platform, but proving himself there still leaves a bit of a gap, and I really hope we do start introducing young pros into our squad more than padding.

You make a good point @Chris

We never expected George Abbott to return to Notts, because Spurs want the player to grow, so either playing in League 1 or the Championship would be a natural progression for him.. I agree that loaning Ryley to a higher level NL club would have benefitted him much more. Do Notts think that Ryley has found his true level with Kidderminster? I hope not.

I understand the idea of wanting to test him at a higher level. George Abbott has joined Wycombe Wanderers, and you could say Riley Reynolds needs that kind of challenge too. But if he can repeat what he did last season at Kidderminster and come back even better, maybe his next move will be to a bigger club. Wishing Riley Reynolds all the best.

I don’t think Notts are as good at keeping in touch with our players as we are at finding new ones. It feels like we could do better at that. Still, I think Riley Reynolds will do alright at Kidderminster Harriers. I hope he gets to play lots and does well.

Best of luck to him on loan. I think it’s a decent move, and I understand the thinking behind wanting to test him at a higher level. The key is for him to get regular game time and learn from the experience. Moving from us to them should give him the chance to develop the qualities needed in a young player aiming for first-team football.

Best of luck to Riley Reynolds while he’s out on loan again. I do wish the club could find more chances for the younger players a bit quicker. Riley must have made a good impression at Kidderminster.

It’s not always about the level of football that helps a player most. Sometimes it’s about being in the right place to bring out their best and help them grow. Riley Reynolds is one of the young players the club seems keen to develop into a future first team regular. Best of luck to him while he’s out on loan.

Going back for another year with Kidderminster is a positive opportunity for Riley Reynolds. Securing regular playing time is crucial, and as many have noted, finding joy in the game is essential. Next season, we either need to find a way to give him half the season out on loan, or have him come back for the other half to sit on the bench, so that we can give him the experience needed to make the grade.

No young pro has been given enough games to tell if they are going to improve; we release them before there are any signs.

Good Luck Riley, all the Best for a Good Season. The thing that worries me though is, if Notts Go their Normal Route should he have a Good Season he'll be Sold On, instead of being a potential member of the Notts First Team Squad and playing for the Magpies.

I wish Riley Reynolds all the best with his loan move. He should be able to build on last season and really push on from here.

I don’t mind that he’s going back to Kidderminster. They clearly rate him and are helping us out by giving him some first team experience.

As for the club possibly selling him, I don’t think it’s very likely. I believe Reynolds and James Sanderson are both being prepared for the first team, as long as we’ve got a head coach who’s willing to give them a chance.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

That's Just It @CliftonMagpie If Notts have a Head Coach who will Give Them a Try. Both Riley and James should have been given a Run in the First team by now and have the Oppotunity to stake a place in the First Team Squad/Team. There will No Doubt be calls of their Not Ready, well when will they be ready? Nobody will Know until they're Given The Chance.

Riley came on as a sub on Saturday. He played 15 mins. He added an injection of energy in midfield. Kidderminster won 1 nil. Like us they have a lot of new players. Already you can see that they have a bit more grit about them this season.
