Who would you like us to sign?

Simple enough is there anyone out there that you think would fit into our style of play?

To start with I'll go with Dayle Southwell & Jeff Hughes. Anyone who can remember any of these style threads will know that I have wanted us to sign Dayle for a long long time, he scored 30 goals for Boston last season, he's only 21, very quick and a natural finisher. He would cost a bit but trust me he is well worth the money. I would love to see the quality of Jeff Hughes back at Notts, his natural ability would suit Ricardo's master plan I reckon.

So come on then who would you like to see wearing the b&w stripes next season.

Not the most athletic or technical player on earth but I would like us to sign Marc Richards. He's got experience at this level and consistently bangs in at least 15 a season. Lewis Alessandra would be a good signing too (although unlikely), he's more agile and skillful. Has time on his side too.

Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro, currently of Shrewsbury. Could cost a little but has experience of our level and has played abroad so could probably adapt to Moniz' ideals a lot quicker than some choices.

Good choice but he's playing in League 1 next season. One player I'd like to see here is Shaun Barker. I know he is coming back from a serious knee injury but he is a quality defender, but also a born leader, something we have lacked.

@super_ram would be delighted if this happened

Derby County: Shaun Barker looks for a Championship future

He couldn't do any worse than our present defenders? I'm sorry to see him go but he'll probably join young Cloughie.

What about James Dunne? Good, old school holding midfielder who isn't afraid to get stuck in. Isn't too bad a passer of the ball and is still only 25.

Some striker who can stick 20 goals a season away!

Watch the videos the lad I have been telling the club about for the last three years is wearing number 9

Someone who is young, hungry, proven in League Two and fancies a good go at promotion and hopefully making the step up with us. Some solid yet mobile centre halves and wingers/attacking midfielders who can run at defenders would make the players we already have look a whole lot better.

Jeff Hughes would be a good signing, I doubt he would return because of his family and the way he left disappointed he hadn't earned a contract offer.

Abu Ogogo could be a decent and realistic addition, only 25 and has a wealth of experience within the lower leagues. I used to pay close attention to Arsenal trainee's and he's pretty skilful.

Joel Grant, Liam Davis have been released by Yeovil, they're decent at our level.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is a long distance shout, as a winger he's pacey and could offer a fair bit to a League Two side.

I think we could get Bobby Reid on a season long loan, I know RM has ruled out loanees but this is stupid IMO. Reid is on loan to Plymouth from Bristol City. He has one year left on his current deal so we could sign him if he works out for us. He's only going to get better and if we don't sign him, someone else will.

Matt Green could be a sensible signing but would he be a risk with his injury issue(s)?

I'd gamble on approaching him, as I believe we have good options already for League Two and he could be a solution to the 4th striker requirement. Supposedly Bajner isn't signing on, so heyho. I was told at a recent NCFC event that he wants to play in an higher league. If true, it's a shame because one season there could make him a different player in the eyes of some supporters.

Bajner is the only one who believes Bajner could play at a higher level! L2 at a push, Conference is more his level.

No, Bajner looks decent. He scored almost the same as Murray but in less time! Signing him would show intent from the Trews. Along with several other quality signings!

That's the problem, Bajner looks decent but is not in reality. Murray is looking like a one season wonder but I think he'll bounce back. Don't think we should waste money on Bajner. Better options out there.

Either of the two at Woking... Rendell done it at this level... consistant scorer.. or Sole also free scoring... good at set pieces... both around 27/28... what sort of a fee? Either may well want a crack at league football.

We need a big striker, which Bajner is, and one who can actually run too. What about Lyle Taylor or Tyrone Barnett, they'd both fit the role quite well in my eyes.

Some good names mentioned, we will end up with none of them and I am informed Bajner will be announced as leaving the club shortly after rejected wages. There seems truth that he wants to play above league two.

Lol, I like the lad, but he's hasn't exactly set the world alight in the Championship or L1 has he?Β
