Simpson's hands down. Much better for fun and laughter and the characters are brilliant. They must be doing something right for it to still be going strong now.

The Simpsons because it's the classic, Bart, Lisa and Homer are great characters and there are many funny additions to throw into the mix. Also, the songs in which they do have are more funnier and less offensive than Family Guy.

I do like both however, especially Stewie.

Family Guy because its trendy and stays with the time. The Simpsons have struggled to keep up with the current times, which makes it less funny.

They also don't do many big plot shows which used to make it stand out. X Files for example.

A green glowing Monty Burns lol

The Simpsons characters are all  stupid and  funny in different ways without being too offensive.Family guy for me goes a bit too far at times.

I'm a big fan of Family Guy. Perhaps go too far,  but Most of us have gone too far in our thoughts thought, Right? . Family Guy Brings it out on TV in a hilarious way.

I've never gotten into the Simpsons, Because i was Watching Football all the time :) in the early day's and didn't bother following.

The Simpsons, all the characters play a part in making the show. I am not a fan of Family Guy, I think its crude and focuses heavily on stereotypes which I think is wrong.

As I said earlier I neither watch neither nor like neither.

If I was forced to watch either I would watch Simpsons but neither really appeal.

The Simpsons, Family Guy clearly rip off and attempt to be more creative which I do not think for a second works well.

Only funny character in the Family Guy which stands out as "one of their own" is the old man.

I think if The Simpsons focused on releasing more episodes and got it put on mainstream UK TV, it would lift back up in it's popularity. I don't think some of the shows writers have done it justice, as once upon a time it would release back to back episode which would have me glued to the TV. At this stage it doesn't really do that, I mean I watched all of the recent episodes and for me the plots are letting down, some of which seem pointless.

Yet I still prefer it over Family Guy.

Simpsons they made it officially acceptable for adults to watch cartoons which actually had a storyline, Family Guy may be seen as the next generation or more popular but its pretty poor in my opinion.

Not really bothered about either. Had family guy on once, when my grand-daughter stayed over, wasn't fussed myself though. Much prefer Only Fools & Horses.

I am pleased to see so many people saying the Simpsons, its what I would say is the better of the two.

Each to their own though.

Just mind out for Grounds keeper @PTID1862

Both but Family Guy just edges it. It's a bit more adult and laugh out loud funny sometimes.

Simpsons by far. Family Guy was good until the series was put on hiatus, then that massive social media campaign came by to bring it back, but since then it's not been very good. Both should have really called it quits around 2006 to be fair... South Park, now THAT is still going strong.
