My appoligies go out to you sir, at the beginning of summer i was talking so bad about you and how you run the club, but now you have proved me wrong with the signings and the new ladbrokes deal. I am sorry! Heres to the new seasons!

Takes a big man (or woman) to apologize without being asked to.

It's obvious Ray has put a lot into the club including time, effort and money. He and the Board are learning every day, and this Ladbrokes deal is a testament to this fact. It makes me laugh when people say chairmen don't have experience within football, how do they expect them to get this experience, play football manager? I expect Ray to go from strength to strength in running the club, after coming in on a high and saving us from the Munto mis-spending.

I don't even blame Shaun Derry for the relegation, it just happened and as I said last season 'It's apart of real football'. I am pleased to see the board come back stronger, having proved points and I hope the new players repay the people who gave them their backing.

Ricardo Moniz looks to be a very exciting manager, regardless of signings - he could be the major coup.

Well said above, both @MichaelRiordan and @Cobby.

i do not think the board require approval of the fans, they should just go about their business. this is not a dig to anyone here, we all know that some fans feel that answers are required when things go wrong but i am not bothered, provided lessons are learned.

mistakes seem to be something we look to avoid repeating.

Anyone within a high demanding role, will no doubt expect the pressure from off fans. Its only natural people point the finger or become unrestful, its not like other clubs whereby it becomes a real problem. I am sure Ray balances out the expectations and disappointments, I wouldn't even apologise for having doubts.

The whole "experience" debate is a joke, successful chairman's are businesses minded people and its a lot to do with judgement of character or money. Its not always done to knowing the football business inside out, these are things you can pick up but what we have seen is large investments coming in from Ray, this as allowed us to move forward.

Its just a case of wrong managers and trigger happy fingers which disappoints me.

But fans can take a share of that blame, as I recall many asking for managers head but the blame falls on the man responsible. Any way, I would not dwell as things are looking up.

As the last time proved, we need to allow the manager time and I would be disappointed if the board removed Moniz for any other reasons than if we are in a similar situation as we was last year.

Otherwise he deserves our full backing.

I think the real test will come when/if the club aren't sitting exactly where they want to in the league, will Ray's trigger finger again start twitching.Β

Exactly, lets not push the dismissal button this season and just try to be behind the club 100%.

If this happens, Ray will have no reason do it.

I honestly believe Moniz agreeing to become Notts manager gave Mr Trew a massive boost and got his enthusiasm back. This feels like the close season when Ben Davis, Hughesy etc signed, only this time it's for real! thanks RayðŸ˜

If things go wrong this season it won't be for lack of trying.Let's put the last few seasons, the managers ,players ,everything behind us and concentrate on now and the coming season.Let's just get behind the chairman, board, manager and above all, the players and cheer Notts County back to Division One and then, who knows, why not the Championship ?

It puts things into perspective, I do feel some fans have the need to jump in and find someone to blame. I do not mean anyone here, I mean on social media but Ray has done all we could have asked.

He will make mistakes but you dont become successful without doing that.

I have never questioned the board about their passion but I have some of their decisions, it is normal to have doubts but this season appears to have a lot of weight behind it.
