people think he's off to Plymouth then Luton fans think he's signed for them today and to be announced tomrrow.

What are the odds on him signing for Luton and gettin the winner against us next Saturday 😔

dont be surprised if Mansfield tried to get him to as they need a left back not far from home either I just hope it's Plymouth but if it is I can't see them changing there back four as they have no reason to

Maybe its because Adams is younger so JF would rather go him a chance than sign someone else, even Sheehan

but Adams is a left back Sheehan will go to Luton as a CB so unless Fullarton is happy with Hollis an Bennett at the back or even McKenzie gettin match fitness now.

Either that or he may have a CB lined up in the making also Sheehan was good but I don't think he's the business at this level a good left back no doubt but centre back not sure.

I mean I think he'd struggle against any half decent target man like spencer in the air etc

Good luck to the lad, but not the answer to our problems imo. As I said elsewhere, if left back was vacant fair enough for this league on low money, but with Adams back now, that's unlikely. And as a CB...I'm sure there are better options out there. Over to you Branston.

Sheehan could have been the centre back we required, it seems to me we never really had a steady left back during his original loan spell. Was he not quickly pushed into the centre? Adams on the left, Sheehan and whoever would make a solid partnership.

Is Hewitt still doing well?

Sheehan didn't get rushed into Centre Back Sheehan claims he is a Centre Back for me he's a make shift Centre Back.

Hes not a CB at all unfortunately and when we play Luton I'd exploit it by playing Spencer and stead and I'd have two wingers who can cross and tell Spencer to peel of Sheehan.

Becuase in the air Spencer would easily have joy all day long he reads the game well yes but isn't physical enough to be a CB or great in the air to me if ur a defender in this league you must be 6ft+ physical an bullish

He is definitely not going to Mansfield. I think he ruled out Plymouth as well so it's odds on that he is going to Luton. It's a team Mansfield are playing very soon according to Sheehan himself, Mansfield are at home to Luton tomorrow.

When I read a status by @Dan yesterday, I thought they had signed him. I had to read it several times before I could make sense of it, luckily these situations don't happen very often for me and I still hope we may be able to do something to get him back here.

Had Mansfield pulled it off, it would have been a million times better than having Adams.

I'm not really bothered where Sheehan goes, I just hope we can get someone solid like him to secure a tighter defence. I'm not against seeing Taylor McKenzie given a shot! He's ending up as one of our most pointless signings, simply because we haven't given him a chance.

What are our problems?

Adams possibly can do a job as left back but I would prefer Sheehan there myself.

Luton? That is a odd decision.

Bradford clearly do not want him anymore. His contract is up at the end of the season, I assume he will sign for Luton now.

There was a post on another site that suggested that Sheehan would sign a loan deal until the end of the season with Luton, but would sign a permanent contract with us in the summer.  This does seem to rely on 'the grapevine' again, in this case I hope it's not grapes of the sour variety we end up with.

Signs on loan for one club but wanting to sign permanent for us in the summer...that sounds strange! Really I would hope that amongst the squad Fullarton can sort out a decent back four, maybe McKenzie will get a chance, Is there more quality to see from Amevor?

I seriously doubt we will ever see Amevor again, but I can see Fullarton going out and getting a centre half with physical presence, which is our priority after all. Good luck to Sheez, but we are covered at left back and I would rather see the money available go elsewhere in the team.

He might come back in the summer, as I'm sure we will want to talk to him, but it all depends on if the manager wants him, or not.

Both Amevor and McKenzie have looked pretty solid at centre back in the last two reserve games (clean sheets in both).  It's hard to know what standard of opposition they were up against, but neither did their first team chances any harm.

I take it that Sprockel has been banished from the club for impersonating (badly) a footballer? Wouldn't mind seeing McKenzie again, as I have only seen him once and he did OK, but I think he is made of glass.

Sheehan would have been useful today, I didn't praise Hollis in the match thread but the lad lead well. It's a shame he didn't have support in Sheehan, as he would have brought awareness to the game.

"Questions will be asked why I didn't sign?" On BBC Radio Nottingham, he said he had an "offer" from the old manager (Moniz), but he had not subsequently spoken to Jamie... and "who is the someone who didn't want him"?

I didn't hear the interview, only from a third party who said the same thing. I can only think that it was GB that didn't want him, but haven't a clue why as he is miles better than anyone else who plays in our back four.

I still stand by the fact that we need a big ugly centre half though and not Sheehan in that position. Sheehan as a left back and centre half cover? It would have been a yes.

I see Guy has said elsewhere "Sheehan was offered a contract and turned it down"

Not consistent by what was reported by our own media I am afraid.

I highly doubt it if Spencer can bang goals for fun in reserves then gets realsed what does that say for the others not a great deal
