A relegation six pointer if ever there was one - both Notts and Accy are fighting relegation, sitting 21st and 22nd in League Two on 26 points - but with the hosts having two games in hand, it is absolutely essential for Notts to go for broke and get all three points.

Match trivia and provisional team news on this week's Stat Attack: https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/previews/stat-attack-accrington-stanley-vs-notts-county-saturday-4-february-2017-r1303/

I still say a draw.

Either 1-1 or 2-2, I would favour 1-1 though.

Accrington is a tough place to visit, we are both quite evenly matched. Our signings may give us more dynamics, along with pace but Stanley are one of those rough teams that like to be physical and they can play. I'm sure those who make the game will see a more passionate Notts side!

i think we could win 2-0 myself.

they are a team we need to get something against, hopefully yeates and nolan start. see what they have to offer to the squad but i am feeling more optimistic.

I have no idea of team selection and know nowt of the new signings apart from what I've read on our site.I am hoping that AH's enthusiasm along with KN's  methods result in another good performance and at least a draw.Good luck Notts

Notts starting XI: Collin, Tootle, Duffy, Hollis, O'Connor, Yeates, Forte, Milsom, A Campbell, Stead, Audel.

Subs: Loach, Clackstone, Bola, T Campbell, Smith, Grant, Ameobi.

We sound as if we are playing well, closing down Accrington when possible. Jon Stead has had a chance but Mark Yeates has been mentioned for his passing and crossing. He also struck a shot but it was off target.

Kevin Nolan gets too engrossed in the game, quite clear from the commentary we needed to change Milsom as he was just not at the races, same as last week he didn't change Thompson & Campbell when needed.

Bringing on Ameobi with Stead is a strange decision.

Why sign players if you're not going to play them? Don't change a winning team and all that but every game is different it's a squad game we only just got past Crawley, so we should of played the best team for the job which this team wasn't.. We needed this win more than alot. Disappointed in Nolan's team selection and subs is an understatement..

Glad the Accrington game is out of the way. Notts never do well there. Next game is huge. Has to be 3 points. Simple as that.

Nolan was never likely to make that many changes mate.

I feel it was a mistake that he didn't throw himself into the mix, it sounded like Yeates did alright and he gave us another dimension. Audel has been a noticeable difference, his absence will be a blow but I hope that he returns as the player we have seen as of late.

Work needs to be done on set pieces, and can't we just give Loach more of a chance as our number 1?

Today's game was always going to be hard, Accrington are a physical side and hard to match. It sounds like the goal they got first made all the difference. If Campbell had of scored the header he totally missed connecting with or Stead had shot earlier than leaving it. I think we'd have the advantage that Accrington had from scoring. We need to go into our next game looking to score, we can't divert or drop our heads.

Accrington are sh!te, it just shows how piss poor we are that we considered it a hard place to go. KN can bang on all day long about how the squad are all good lads etc but he should quit with interviews if that is all he has got to say as I for one am sick of hearing it, they're total crap, losing confidence is one thing, not having any f4cking ability is another and I know which one I believe

Also to add to my post above, how can it be so blindingly obvious to anyone who has watched us this season that our players couldn't create a chance to score in a brothel with a £50 note strapped to their apendages let alone on a pitch, then we are chasing the game and we put on two players who are going to need someone to create chances for them! Put on a player who can create a chance!! It's not difficult is it so why do our managers make it look like challenging Stephen Hawking to a physics contest

@Northants Pie "put on a player who can create a chance!! ".. #StanleyIn...Oh wait, too late.

What I would say Collin, should have claimed cross for Accrington's first. Keeps reminding me of Seamus, knowing we have a keeper that isn't good enough

Must say it seemed basic yesterday to bring on some creativity as the game passed milsom and A Campbell by , #Grant , it was never going to be a footrace to being world beaters , it's a battle and will remain that till Newport away I fear , let's hope not , but if it is let's embrace the fight with the ups and as with NOTTS the inevitable downs , and play our part in the fight to secure our league status , COYP

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I can understand Nolan's thinking to be honest, we went into this match off the back of a win so he obviously thought he'd give the existing players a chance to build on it. If we'd made six changes and lost there would have been uproar from the fans and unhappiness behind the scenes.

Now we're going to find out whether the new boys are up to the task. Let us hope that they are.

i think nolans only real flaw right now is leaving subs late, taking stead off and injecting someone into midfielder may have made the difference. milsom sounded terrible yesterday but we need to expect results like this.

we just have to see better next time a round.

Very disappointing result, however we need to try and remain upbeat. The clubs need everyone to give their support, those who can must get down to Meadow Lane next week.

Nolan's given his players a chance after last week's win, this was the right thing to do. We all comment on how ex bosses have cut and swapped line ups and by all accounts many that featured in yesterday's team have let him down. I would expect after a weeks training most of the new players to start next week. The clubs put out a good offer at £12, Meadow Lane could be where we turn the ship. Its baby steps right now, lets make sure we ease the learning process by giving our full support.

To quote myself on the transfers thread...

"The only thing that was missing and disappointing was a dominant centre half, which still evades us for some reason, so I hope that Audel and Duffy develop a decent understanding and neither get injured."

If Audel is out for any length of time we are going to really struggle as he is the only defender that actually attacks the ball. We know nothing about the lad from Hull and Nolan chose to bring on a Left back rather than Clackstone to replace Audel.

I'm also baffled as to why he replaced Yeates with Campbell, rather than bringing Grant on and why Ameobi for Forte, leaving no pace up front, especially when you take off the guy who can cross the ball for him to use his height?

Some very strange decisions need to be addressed for this Saturday.

Forte looked injured when he came off so that explains that substitution but stead was awful, fell over after a little nudge, should have put his foot through it when he had an open goal but tried passing it in
