Two new signings?

Featured Replies

David VaughanΒ would be a good signing for this, both players would add the depth we need from experienced players.

Enzio Boldewijn, David Vaughan, Krisitan Dennis and Kane Hemmings!! This would be one of the strongest Notts squads for years.

I am hopeful the rumours are true and that the club can pull these signings off.

I don't get why people are concerned about David Vaughan's injury risk, we have plenty of cover and his experience would be massive. I wonder how many of these hoping it's not true actually know how good he is as a player? Besides, I am sure some wanted Neal Bishop back and the two players are leagues a part in terms of quality.

He would be a quality signing for League Two and, someone who can pass his experience to the young signings we have.

There's very little concern from me.

Vaughan is way to good for league two, so this would be one hell of a coup for us. I know he is 35, but we need that sort of experience in the middle of the park, let all of the others do the running for him!

Exactly, he's a brilliant player and I would have thought the fact Notts is right on his doorstep it might be enough to encourage him to sign.

He would be a player that could play anywhere in midfield, I think he can defend also if I am not mistaken but his best position by far is the centre of midfield. Forest fans are saying he would be a good signing so what does some of these moaning Notts fans know?

If these two players join the quality throughout the squad will be there.

There won't be any worries about the squads depth or concerns as much over injuries. Does anyone know if EnzioΒ Boldewijn can double up as a striker? I believe Alan Hardy has said that they wanted this from the winger expected to be joining.

I hate to say it but unless Andy Kellett is being used as a defender, or one of the existing wingers is set to leave, I just can't see us signing another one. I suppose Kevin Nolan could always play Lewis Alessandra up front, yet personally I prefer him on the wing.

There's room for further tweaking but I just can't see another winger joining the club without some further clarity on playing roles.

I think just like we had with Noble, we may see Hawkridge and even Alessandro on the way out,

Each to their own. In my opinion, no bad thing as neither is good enough for a full promotion challenge.

But I also know some like them, especially Alessandro.

Alessandra might be a rational player and double up as a backup striker.

I don't think we will see any players leave, usually they are the first to go and Lincoln was rumoured to be in for Hawkridge.
