Notts director steps down today

Featured Replies

Well this will lead to more rumours and, quite possibly some people 'pretending' to know more than they do.

I forgot he even joined back in 2017, so I can't see it being much of a loss. I just wonder if it's related to the sacking directly or because of something else?

A field where dreams become reality.

The club lives on, I think its a bit silly if he resigned due to the sacking of Kevin Nolan.

I mean I am still a fan and I liked KN, I thought he would do well with Notts if he turned this poor start around.

After all the things from this weekend...this is the daftest. The chairman pulls the trigger. Directors are there to spread the day to day load of work and or finances. If the owner sacks someone then it’s up to them. No real loss at all and I’m sure Alan and Fletch will replace him easily enough.

Rumour, and that’s all it is...Darren Fletch cut ties with the club after the sacking? Removed all details of Notts from twitter bio?

that would be an issue IF that is true.

No idea who he is and I really don't care.

The club has a path forward and I just want to see Alan Hardy take it, if people are resigning from the board just because a managers been sacked well they are in the wrong sport. It's the fans who truly matter and we have no say! Well unless you moan to the chairman on Twitter.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

They'll be replaced if both have left, its really their loss too.

You can be this emotional in football, its bad enough when you keep players on who are not good enough. I'm afraid there's no room for sentiment when it comes to a million pound business. It's the club and business first, nothing else.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Never heard of the director mentioned by @Piethagoram myself, good luck to him though.

The club needs financial backers on the board, not people made up to look good.

"The club needs financial backers on the board"? a difficult question to answer..... would one pay money in for a minority say?

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel

It's a glass half full situation.

The people who may or have already stepped down could be replaced with someone better. Its possible that they won't but why any fan would be overly concerned I do not know.

Paul Mace would be the ideal person because of him being a fan.

I see little reason for having a board made up of people who won't invest in the club but just hope with duties behind the scene.
