i know we are only 6 games into the season but i fear for relegation. the confidence seems low, the managerial merry go round is disappointing and i really feel the focus should have been on the defence.

im worried that the club will suffer for changing the shift and i dont see how the defence can improve especially with fitzsimons in goal.

I think its early days, but it is a possiblity if the defence stays as it is.

I think everyone should be worried about relegation because there are few signs that things will improve right now.

I’m fearing this as well but right now I’m trying to tell my self that this is a blimp and hopefully we will bounce back.. but @liampie I’m starting to think the same now

It’s not been a great start, in fact I’ll correct that and say it’s been an awful start but it is too soon to talk about relegation in my opinion, things can turn around very quickly in football, all we can do is keep the faith and trust in Hardy and Kewell plus the new DoF to get things right.

Nope this all comes as no surprise to me, anyone who attended all the pre season games could see this coming, a really unbalanced team, and HK as got his work cut out to sort it, imo

I take no pleasure but we are looking like relegation fodder

sadly i agree and i dont see how harry kewell can fix it by playing attacking football.

i think notts needed someone who understands the defensive duties but also how to score/retain a clean sheet.

I have to admit, I am very worried about the future for Notts. If we can create a good feel factor again and get a few early good results under Harry Kewell I think safety would be easy. It's just if the losing streak continues.

That is the worry, I am praying that Kewell can instil some self belief into the players, the players that were here last season performed well enough to get into the play offs, the new players have all got good reputations, they don’t all become bad players overnight, if Kewell can get them playing a system that suits their strengths and they get a few wins we’ll be ok. The alternative doesn’t bear thinking about.

This would help, yet I feel the task is huge what he must identify.

I think finding a way to win games takes presidency over the way we play football. We really have to fix many vital parts of the game and I currently wonder if the defence and keeper are strong enough to do this.

While it’s true it’s early in the season, and the results and performances aren’t good and much needs to improve , the good thing is how much time is available for hard work to be put in to correct what’s wrong , I’m not going to say it’s not a concern, but by the same token I’m not thinking relegation at this stage still plenty points to play for and time to sort it , my feeling is we’ll be ok , in time .

There is a lot of work which needs to go into undoing the awful performance and results so far, retaining the ball might help but I am unsure how Harry Kewell will resolve all of what we need.

I also wonder how much time he's got?

Relegation seems a destination which is looking more than likely, where promotion seems out of the question.

Everyone has to make an effort and people have to try to just get behind the club now, those that just moan on social media will only bring the club down.

I worry the club has got themselves into a pretty big hole, people might be less concerned about blaming Kevin Nolan and more included to just get behind the club. I felt the KOP was nervous and somewhat dull yesterday.

Only good moment was hearing the chant and minute applause for Ben Hastings.

I am not worried remotely, I feel that once we know what Harry Kewell brings to the squad it will give s a better insight. IF he fails to make charges or spark a reaction from the squad than I might be inclined to agree.

At this stage it is still very early and there is time for a revival.
