He's been involved for a few months to my knowledge, it's because of the academy failing their review - they're trying to improve it but honestly I don't know what we can expect of Dave Regis.

Are we starting to hire every coach that we can?

I don't know, it's good to see an ex player return but it's getting all rather confusing as to whom is doing what. I can't help but feel this type of scenario rubs off onto the players, yet I would like Notts promoting players who are good enough to start. Let's see how things go.

i have no idea who dave regis is but it seems that the clubs has a lot of coaches doing very similar roles.

I agree with @Truefootballfan and I hope he can do a job, the academy does need a lot of work.

Home grown players could breed new life into this club but it seems nobody has a clue.

I thought Dave had moved out of football and had worked for Nottingham City council.

I might be mistaken though.

Welcome back to Notts big Dave.

Welcome back to Meadow Lane and Notts Dave! Do us proud again.

He should be a good addition to the coaching staff, Notts needs to give him several years to influence the players and to actually push them.

I wish him luck with the role, at least we are getting a good amount of staff in to combat the problems Notts are having at the moment.

Good news always good for me When a former magpie comes home to take charge of a team weather it youth or academy I think he will do very well and I wish him the very best of kool let’s hope he send some up to the first team.
