Shirt sponsors (or the lack of them)

Does anyone know what is happening with the monthly shirt sponsors? Are we still doing them?

We're now into our third month with Lifeline on the front of the shirt. While their logo looks very snazzy and all, I can't help wondering whether we'll be getting an external sponsor again. Is there really so little interest in the monthly packages (I'd expected the owners to stick Football Radar on there for a month at least)? Or do you reckon they're looking for a main sponsor to go on the shirt next season too? I know the National League is a hard sell, but it's quite possible that we will be having two Wembley trips in the spring, with plenty of exposure for our sponsor...

Any thoughts, rumours, insider info?

I was told a while back that there were sponsors lined up, however, I am inclined to believe perhaps Lifeline has covered the missing sponsors? I really don't know.

It's not something that bothers me to be fair, I think it looks better with Lifeline on.

Considering the mess the club was in prior to the sale, it's important we focus on the pitch. Yes, it could be a loss of revenue, but nobody will know for sure if Lynn/Lifeline has actually come to the rescue.

I do feel this is something the club should address, either by them or Lifeline itself.

If the sponsorship is lower, I wouldn't care but I do feel fans deserve to know if the scheme is in place for the rest of the season. I am in the mind that nobody had time to chase sponsors, but some others might be announced.

Pre-season should be written off, along with all the jobs that goes with it.

Commercial whoever is in charge of that has let the club down though, the Danish brothers will fix it.

I have asked both Leigh Curtis and Charlie Slater on their respective Twitter pages but no answer, also emailed the club shop and in short, no one seems to know.

I don't think anyone has let the club down, you can hardly negotiate sponsorship when you don't even know whether you'll be starting the season. And, understandably, companies don't want to risk wasting their money.

Was just wondering if I was missing anything. It wouldn't be too hard to get the same sponsors from the last couple of seasons to go on the shirt again, but since we have radio silence I suspect that the owners are looking for a bigger sponsor to go on the shirt in the longer term. And that takes a bit more time and patience.

Having said that, does anyone else think "PON Prediction League" would look great on the shirt? :D

Lifeline actually makes the shirts look a bit more tidy, especially the home kit.

I wasn't a fan of it, however, it does look smart with the sponsorship on. If this remains the sponsor for the rest of the season, I will be happy and I do hope that fans will jump back on board with it.

I disagree, the ground staff still did their job but the commercial department halted? Do we really believe that the club wasn't scouting players, looking into options for the training ground? I don't see how excuses the sponsorship can be any different.

I have always felt the club should operate on 2 or 3-year-deals when it comes to sponsorship.

No disrespect intended to the club or staff, I don't think even they know what's happening right now.

The club doesn't seem to be keen to address fans concerns much.
