  1. its always sad to see a young player leave but at least this is a step in the right direction for him, he should be able to go on and make a good career for himself. norwich city will be a fantastic opportunity for him.
  2. its a good step up and i think hes a good player, i hope he transitions well. he should get more time to play he way he likes in league one.
  3. it sounds like a great fit for him, i do wish him all the best and hope that chester can have a good season. connell rawlinson should be a key player for them.
  4. I feared the worst when i saw the training gear, but the home shirt looks incredible. i love how different it is and i would stand by my comments on twitter.
  5. that is some celebration at the nest! i am pleased the club have the facility as it will be making good money during the euros.
  6. his message means a lot to see, i wish him the best as he moves on and finds a new club but its nice to see his sentiments to notts. i am glad hes leaving with fond memories and holding the club with high regards.
  7. connell rawlinson has been a great servant for notts, hes bled our colours and tried his hardest to help get the club back to where it belongs. i am thankful he managed to see us back to the football league, his arrival in the first season in the national league was a mixed time for us. i am glad we have witnessed it improve together.
  8. i am hoping to go support them when i can next season, i probably wont be able to do a lot of games but i want to try to get behind them when i can. i think if more notts fans did, it would give them a lift.
  9. kevin nolan had it in for jonathan forte, it was a silly decision because when he played he scored. i totally agree with you @Wheelbarrow repair man, yes he suffered a serious injury and has retired. he now runs a football school and coaches young players.
  10. i think macaulay langstaff is happy here at meadow lane, i am a little concerned that we might let him go but i trust the club. its a difficult situation, either take a good lump sum or retain a player who could fire us out of league two.
  11. i loved his effort and goals that he scored, him and kristian dennis was such a promising strike force. i agree, with @Chris playing him out wide made no sense. neither did not playing jonathan forte or kristian dennis. in favour of aging players.
  12. i have been here since 2012, i was not much into football as a youngster but i felt at home at notts. those free tickets that notts would give schools paid off, joining pon was the best decision i have made. i have seen members come and go, but the community is great. @super_ram, @Piethagoram, @Fan of Big Tone are three of my favourite members. also credit to @Chris who does so much, he makes pon shine. like @Joshua, i have grown and i find people accept me which i have found difficult over the years with being autistic.
  13. he does sound like a good fit for what we need, he will be around good players and i am sure that will see curtis edwards at his best. i have seen no end of positive comments for his ability on twitter from woking fans and people who have seen him play. i am glad hes here.
  14. so, pleased that hes near a return and that his recovery has gone well. also congratulations to him and his partner on getting engaged, doing that in new york city will have been a special memory. i cant wait to see him back on the pitch but only when hes 100%. hes one of the most consistent players we have had for years!
  15. this is a nice surprise for a signing, someone vastly different but also experienced and that will make the opposition teams we face unsure about curtis edwards. plus he may bring in a different approach or style to his game, which will be a blessing because usually we have players who are very similar. i am delighted with this arrival.
  16. cedwyn scott and jodi jones should be able to help rod mcdonald settle at notts, he sounds like hes ready to get going and i think its a very good signing. the height in the defence now, should be we are better at dealing with set pieces and the aerial threats.
  17. good player, decent turn of skill and pace. i prefer him as a striker than midfield but he has done well since leaving us.
  18. he looks handy and tall, which should help with the aerial threats. i am pleased to see we have brought in some experience at the back because it should help the defence out.
  19. honestly, we are very lucky right now. we have great owners, the club is ran well with passionate staff and we have one of the best groundstaffs in the football league. they have done an amazing job, they do every season but this is just extra special.
  20. the more you read and watch about him, the more it makes you appreciate his ability and how it seems to be the perfect fit for us. we just have to get the best out of players and with the squad we are building, i hope we can give him the game time needed to shine. i am sure he will, but its much like how we need to give adam chicksen the chance to repeat his promotion season form with us.
  21. so pleased with how we are adding defensive strength with the addition of a competitive wing back. this is another excellent addition to the squad, notts are building the excitement very nicely.
  22. i am confident that we have signed a quality keeper, he speaks very well and his previous experience is impressive. its going to be exciting watching the team play, as if we are solid at the back that must give encouragement and some freedom to the players who are attacking.
  23. i am very happy with this signing, he seems very promising and should do well for us i feel.
  24. to fall ill and die at the age of 26, its horrible news. i hope his family find peace.
  25. i noticed tweets by alan shearer and ian wright, its a very sad day. rest in peace kevin campbell.
