Fan of Big Tone: A Lifetime of Supporting Notts County
brilliant read @Fan of Big Tone and @Chris, i am glad you got to watch tony, i also appreciate reading about your background and why we know your username as what it is.
- have you see this tony? it answers the questions you asked about what did luke williams say in the wembley uncovered video.

Will Randall joins Notts County and praises Head Coach Luke Williams
he looks to be a good signing, i like what hes said and i think he should thrive even more with us
-
Where are they now : Kwame Thomas
he was awful and very average, only thing was his pace and control. if he could cross, he would have been a better winger than a striker.

Site & Community Blog Updates
to say you have been away on your families holiday, @Chris. i think you have done brilliantly with the content. as with how long @Simon Clark would have spent on writing his feature, i realise that for you to proof, publish and post takes time. i love the quality right now, i think the standard is very high.

Beyond the Victory: Analysing the Post-Promotion Performance of National League Playoff Winners
simon clarke i can appreciate the amount of effort and time that has gone into researching this piece, it must have been a lot. thank you for writing it, i enjoy reading your features and posts! i think there is a pitfall when money, club size, quality of players and owners that plays part in a teams relegation back to the nation league. that does not mean it dont happen to teams that are good and have everything going for it, sometimes football can be weird but i think most of the times its down to one of the earlier points i mentioned. a lot of the notts players seem to enjoy their football, arriving to the ground with smiles and the squads chemistry is at a high. this is why i think notts could be one of the few teams that can get back to back promotions, i wont be disappointed if we dont but i do believe we can be one of 3 or 4 teams to be in for the title this upcoming season.

The Icing on the Cake: Macaulay Langstaff’s Our Game Player of the Year Award
it just gets better and better for macaulay langstaff, i am pleased that he has scooped more awards. his efforts this past season really does deserve it.

Sam Slocombe cites "overall package" as reason for staying with Notts County
hes a great keeper that just needs the support we afford others at times. im certain he will play a big role in taking us further! so pleased sam slocombe signed on again.
-
Connell Rawlinson: "My heart will always be with Notts County"
i have nothing but respect for connell rawlinson, he has played his part in getting us back up and i love that he wants to go again and aim for promotion. how is throws himself into dangerous situations without a thought, carries on even when he's picked up head injuries shows his dedication. its time we as fans cut him some slack and stop criticizing him for being slow etc.

Wordle
i don't understand it. ???? do you just guess words that fit? i am not really sure, i have not played it but at the same time i have seen people especially on twitter play it.
-
Connell Rawlinson commits future to Notts County with new deal
delighted to see that connell rawlinson has agreed a new deal, i think 2 years gives both him and notts the flexability to see how his performances impact the team. as it mentions, he has experience at this level and we need a variety of that.
-
Where are they now: Greg Tempest
i liked him at first but then he went pretty awful, misplacing passes and looking out of depth. i felt after he left that he would end up playing for most of the local non league teams. its a shame because he did look very good once.

Notts County fan names newborn after striker Macaulay Langstaff
aww this is brilliant! congratulations to the family, i bet oscar loves his little brother, wait for him to teach macaulay how to play football!
-
Notts County secures permanent deal with Jodi Jones!
this is brilliant news, jodi is a great signing for notts! i am well happy.

Homecoming Hero: Macaulay Langstaff Celebrated in Stockton
macaulay langstaff is not like most players, in his down time he decides to go back home and meets people at his former school. look at all the excited faces on the childrens faces. if we can get that response from fans in nottingham, we may get some more young supporters on board. i wished notts would give free school tickets again, not just to these football groups. its what got me hooked!
-
Notts Alumni: Jonathan Forte
i think the season the club tried focing jonathan forte out of the door, with kevin nolan just leaving he out was a poor decision. he has always delivered the goods, his earlier spell was impactful and when he returned i was glad. the pride of nottingham stood behind forte, i think @Chris and @Joe Jones sponsored him as a sign of support. he did very well for us against coventry, he was a game changer in the home tie and we should not have had the goal disallowed.
-
The Dynamic Role of Matt Palmer in Luke Williams’ Notts County
i think since we have had matt palmer the club has improved with pressing and picking the ball up, hes always trying to get it back and watches the ball well. i have been impressed by him from his first season, he just seems to get better and the arrival of john bostock allowed him to focus more on his attacking play. its good more fans are starting to appreciate what he brings to the side, he would be one of the first players named in my own match XI and to say how many games he played this past season, it just shows his importance to the side.

i hope the fans who managed to share this special experience truly appreciate how this moment in time feels compared to all the upset, i am glad the club allowed fans to be one. i hope they give us who have not had the chance a way to feel a part of it but it is a special time in notts countys history. i am pleased for everyone involved.

Match Discussion: Play Off Final - The Spireites
chesterfield were a lot like boreham wood just a lot better, they have transformed into a decent team who looked good on the wembley pitch. i wished they would cut out the timewasting, the referee was smart to it but did not give any bookings. i also feel they were lucky to have 10 men come the end of the game. notts should have lumped the ball forward then tried to keep it on the ground with our midfield working hard to maintain the ball. instead of our defence being forced into mistakes and pressure due how chesterfield ran everything down. they did the pressure on notts for sure. i thought notts were better overall, if you count all the time they spent creating chances and were on top of the game. chesterfield just did better in the first half, but they did look good on goal after. notts looked a little lacking, i think macaulay langstaff should have tried to buy some more time when he had some of his chances instead of rushing his shot. its great to be promoted1 better to have seen it. very proud of the team.

Notts County’s Return to Football League: A Story of Triumph and Transformation
i agree with all the points raised and made by chris, i thought notts did well. i heard comments from fans complaining about how poor the squad had been but if that was the case. chestefield struggled to put more than 2 past us, we worked hard to take the game to them and to pull back level twice.
-
Faces of PON 22-23: Chesterfield at Wembley (POF)
as always, @Chris you have captured the day from a fans perspective and have done the fanbase proud. well done mate.

Notts County triumphs over Chesterfield and reclaims title as world’s oldest football league club
what a rollercoaster! the whole game felt tense but magical at the same time. i am very fortunate that @CliftonMagpie and @TheSkipper asked me to join them in travelling to the game. i enjoyed every minute with them and watching notts. i don't want to discredit chesterfield because they played well. their fans in the ground were also very lively. they got behind their players a little better than us and it was not due to leading the game. they just wanted it and showed it. our fans were incredible in spells but with the amount we took, everyone signing the same chant would be hard and we dont handle our emotions that well.
-
Notts County earns support from Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, who aims to show support in promotion bid
chesterfield can take 10k or more derby county fans, but we only need one @super_ram to match them!
-
Heartfelt Reactions from Notts County Fans after Playoff Victory at Meadow Lane
this is a brilliant read, all three fans summed up their account well and i can relate to each of them. i think colin sisson and his son, is a nice reminder just how far we have come. the emotion of the win did get the best of me, i think it did with many others but what a great moment for us all!
