  1. i think we have enough depth to cover jodi jones whilst hes on international duty, i would like to see adam chicksen start but its good that will randall is now ready to play. that leaves the challenge open for him to fight for his place in the team. its also good to hear the comments on the loan signings, although i do think we will see them more in cup games than the league but at least we have cover.
  2. @Fan of Big Tone at least you can see the logic in the training, those days things would have been very difficult and this training quite ground-breaking. its quite primitive by todays standard but must have helped back then.
  3. Exeter City 0-1 Leyton Orient Stevenage 2-0 Carlisle United joker Accrington Stanley 0-3 Mansfield Town Colchester United 0-1 Tranmere Rovers Forest Green Rovers 1-1 Crewe Alexandra AFC Fylde 0-0 Aldershot Bromley 2-1 Maidenhead United Woking 0-0 Solihull Moors
  4. @gtownjohnno this should have been posted by the club much earlier, you may have known by then. enjoy the steam. if anyone at home is watching, be sure to keep the match discussion to one side and update it with your opinion.
  5. do update us on what he says @Fan of Big Tone, i have over hours to get in today due to training.
  6. adam chicksen, will randall should be on the bench and made to wait for his chance. chicksen has been with the programme and waiting for his chance, tell him if he does well that he stands a higher chance of more game time and let the performance from him show if he can lift his game to as we saw from his last season. if randall is only just back, why start him? it goes against everything luke williams says about the team.
  7. the club could have done a better job to promote this before today. its good to know, but i will be at the game. @gtownjohnno you got your answer, be happy and enjoy the stream.
  8. mk dons are a good team, i think we should do well against them with the level of our performances having increased. its still very early days but the league is starting to take shape, its a good chance for us or them to show their dominance. this will make it a difficult game, as i think both teams will approach the match in a way where near try to rock the boat from the moment kick off happens. it might be a little so, as we feel them out but i do believe it will be entertaining.
  9. very sad news, he played for notts before i got into the club but i appreciate the season he did have with us. its a shame to learn he was only 55. rest in peace ian hamilton.
  10. hopefully, the goals and the words from luke williams, gives macaulay langstaff more of a boost. he does work so hard in games and i think we brought him into the game very well against accrington stanley. langstaff looked like he would be a constant threat and playing the ball to his feet does make a huge difference.
  11. mk dons at their ground will be difficult. they always try to play championship style football, quite different to us. they have a lot of pace and a lot of quality in their team. it could be a very difficult game. our away form will hopefully start to match our home form. this would be a good indicator as to how we may do over the course of the season. honestly, i would take a point. i know i mentioned improving our home form but a draw would be a positive start, ideally we would go play well and come back with all three points but i think we will be quite evenly matched. with them making it hard for us. i dont think expect us to outplay them by much or if at all. dont take this as a negative or a lack of faith, i fully believe we will give a good account of ourselves but i think mk dons have been slightly better in overall form than us.
  12. adam chicksen! who i hope features more this season because his form last season was amazing and hes been pretty much phased out again.
  13. and the kop goes crazy with excitement! there is a party at meadow lane and it dont include balint bajner.
  14. kabongo tshimanga is a cod. peterborough fans were saying he was a dud before, i think fleetwood will suite him better.
  15. i would love to macca celebrate like paul gascoigne did in euro 96, i like those tv shows which recap past euros and its by far the funniest celebration i have seen. poweraid him up.
  16. ha! the person in the far back of the studio, clearly an arsenal fan. i hope he did not get in trouble for the distraction, it was a great showing of passion. his celebration could easily become a meme.
  17. i think if they are not smart about who they appoint next, they will almost certainly have a difficult season. its a bit daft imo.
  18. all were average imo, they had a lot of height but little direction or creativity on goal. at the moment, i dont consider notts to be one of the best defences and whilst i do believe they are a good squad. a better team would have made it harder for us. i dont even rate josh andrews. i thought he was pretty shocking with how poor he was on goal. but this is one game, they may perform better in others but i am basing my comment on our recent game against them.
  19. blackpool fans seem to be one of the worst in the uk, i cant stand them. i know people call liverpool and leeds fans but most blackpool fans i have come across cant just be happy. its like a certain portion of our own. multiplied by 1,000 and then put on steroids. are they still owned by the dodgy bloke that alan hardy had a whiplash for posing next to him? i try not to pay attention to teams like these.
  20. good luck, i always like waite a long with nangle who both had yards of pace and seemed to have a good level of potenital.
  21. hes becoming quite the mercenary of football. little loyality and i am surprised wolves want someone who can easy jumpship so easily. some might think i am being harsh, whatever, i think i could be much harsher on him. personally, i think he smells an opportunity to become a manager of a first team in england again. wolves is not an upgrade over anderlecht, i hope he did not drag his family to belgium with him, because this would be another negative. on the potisives, this is classy from his former employer, where he spent six months. https://www.rsca.be/en/Ian_Burchnall
  22. it was an impressive display, accrington also played well as a team and created good chances. although i stopped fearing after we went 2-1 up, as their finishing was not the best. luke williams is right about how the team showed a lot of toughness not to go back and allow accrington to control the game more. after our opening goal in the first half, i felt we sat back and became nervous but at 1-1, they looked content with a draw rather than wanting to win. we always looked likely to get into it in the second half and those two goals show the quality we have. macaulay langstaffs second brace which is incredible!
  23. well done @Joshua and @ARLukomski. keep going @cheeky~k8, @Chris and @super_ram. i think super needs help some spiritual support from granny pie, as his form this season has not been good.
  24. just lower the amount, but keep in mind sometimes people may really get behind donating in numbers and that the following month their may be fewer. do it, i will support it. its not for everyone but if it was to raise 30-40% that would be an amazing start and less hassle to keep requesting help. if people are willing to support youtubers and people who just write on social media. they should be inclined to support a site which produces good content and a friendly environment to discuss notts. this is how i would love my support to be used, what you did a few years back was a lovely gesture when you asked fans to nominate young supporters then gave them a free print. its a great idea mate. well done for supporting pon @TheSkipper and @CliftonMagpie.
  25. haha... the school one is very funny. something about schools i want to add is how stupid the catchment areas are becomming, my cousin is started senior school this year and he lives 5 minutes from where i went but the school he goes to his 30 minutes in car.
