Just been listening to some music whilst doing the washing up and some of them have some incredible intros. What is everyone's favourite intro to a song? Doesn't have to be the best but your personal favourite.
Mine would have to be either
Sweet Child o'mine or Bittersweet Symphony.

Notts County boss Neal Ardley wants Covid-19 tests for footballers to be made mandatory, insisting players’ health must be a priority.
The Magpies, who have tested their players on a regular basis since the start of the season, have pulled out of the FA Cup after six members of their squad contracted the virus.
Ardley believes the outbreak in his squad was triggered by an opposing team. He insists players across the country will take to the field this weekend Covid-19 positive without knowing, putting themselves, their teammates and opponents at risk.

Does any other members here have any interests in computers, or retro games?
It's been good to see retro consoles released with classic titles, such as the Mega Drive and Nintendo 64. I'm also an advocate for Arc and RetroPie.

With the positive tests of a further two players, our withdrawal from the FA Cup and the postponement of our next two league matches, our hopes of going through the season relatively unscathed by The Sickness seem to be over. First of all, I hope all involved come through it quickly and are well again soon. Health comes first. And the actions of our owners in doing everything in their power to keep everyone safe, including paying for a testing regime even at the expense of our chances on the field, are absolutely commendable and correct.
However, I can't help but wonder what kind of season is going to be possible under these circumstances. We won't be the last club to put its season on hold, and winter hasn't even started yet. I suspect more clubs will be forced to follow Merthyr Town and mothball this season entirely. And if that starts to happen, at what point does it become impossible to continue the season at all? It's depressing. I wonder what football (and the world) will look like when we come out of this.
Also, I've got a trivia question. When was the last time Notts didn't compete in the FA Cup?

Heart breaking to see us drop out of the FA Cup, part of me thought "why not just play the game?" and, then postpone the fixtures due to the positive tests.
Yet, it shows Notts are prepared to look out for other clubs as some players might have it without knowing.
Obviously they're tested, yet if teams can get away with fielding players with it potentially then it seems reckless. It doesn't take much to figure out who Neal Ardley believes our players caught COVID-19, so if proven they've pretty much cost us a piece of history and, a loss of income.
On the other hand, I'm not overly bothered but I will be annoyed IF people take the League Cup/any other rubbish competition more seriously.
For me, the FA Cup is the one cup worth trying to progress further in.

Due to Altrincham the club now has to miss the FA Cup which could've provided financial benefits, and have to sit out the recent progress in match form due to the 2 weeks break. If any of the squad will be training, focus on fixing the defence and set piece issues.

Hello,
I am a life long pie supporter, who grew up watching Notts in the mid 60's. I haven't been able to attend any live games since moving to France in the mid 2010's but I have been purchasing match passes this season to stream the games.

The absence of Kristian Dennis is a big loss. His movement, positioning, link up play and finishing is a big miss.
Kyle Wootton has started this season brilliantly but when he's not playing we need someone to step up. Thomas looks good on the wing of a front three, pressing the opposition, as does Knowles. However, Knowles is only 18 and Sam is someway off being ready and we can't afford to be patient if we want to win promotion. I am willing to give them time, but there is a fine balance between giving time and being ready.

Mutual Consent. Never played a competitive fixture.
Seemed OK in friendlies, but never really stood out too much. -

It quickly went downhill.
It's a disappointing loss for the main reason that Notts attacked better than them, we just made a pigs meal of every slight attack that they had. No real danger otherwise!
-
I thought Notts played some really enjoyable football in the first half, but got caught napping at stages where Maidenhead managed to punish the poor marking. I was surprised by how easy Notts made it for them to get back into the game, no marking and no body pressing to get tight. This are fundamental mistakes which are the easiest to address if you can apply some discipline to players. You either get someone like like Michael Doyle to give the offenders a wake up, drop them or demand better during the game.
Ruben Rogrigues looks to be a cut above those around him, but he needs to keep his head up when looking to pass the ball.
Defensively, Notts played a rather poor game which is disappointing because of how good they started. Some could be down to fitness and the amount of games the players have had to play but it's not going to get easier.
If 4 players have caught COVID-19, then it could only get worse so the defence must be at its best.

As controversial as this may be, I'm getting fed up with Southgate and his negative tactics. Not saying he should be sacked, but something needs to change.
His whole thing is supposedly about picking players on form but yet we seem to see the same few players play game in game out even if there are players in better form.
Pickford, Kane, Maguire. The selected 3.
Grealish came on in the 0-0 v Denmak last month and created more chances in 15 minutes than any other player did in 90. He also won man of the match and was involved with the goals against Wales in his first start for England. What more does the guy has to do? Maybe if he was a defender or defensive mid, he might stand a chance. Southgate loves them.
5 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders and they wonder why we are struggling on the attacking front despite attack being our strongest point.
Tactically he seems to get it wrong and tonight is up there with the worst. Maguire gets sent off, rather than going to a flat back 4 and keep Maitland Niles and Reece James who were both dominant on their sides, Southgate chooses to sub Maitland Niles for Mings and goes to the flat back 4 switching James to the left.
Nick Pope & Dean Henderson are miles ahead of Pickford. I mean Pickford pushed Walker in the penalty lead up.
Unless Southgate switches his tactics, I can't see us progressing. Would of thought the win against Belgium would have boosted us but now it feels like it may have been an off day for Belgium and a lucky result for us.
