Usually at this point in the season fans are thinking about next season, right now with Notts returning to the bottom of the table this is exactly how I feel. The unknown is a dilemma within itself, would you rather know we was safe now or not?
Would this make any different to how you feel?
Everyone seems to feel it will go down the last game of the season, for Notts this always seems to happen but I would rather know sooner or later. Five very tense remaining games which will leave us hanging on the edge of every result, every kick and every goal. I think Notts can stay up if they respond well in these next two games but for once its the away form which seems to be the answer.

I've been to several games like the Swindon Town match at the weekend, it's not good. However, nothing has been as important - it's going to be more than a miracle if Notts manages to stay up.
Macclesfield has Cambridge United, Swindon might be missing several players.
There's talk of injuries and a reliance of youngsters for The Robins, yet the focus must be on ourselves. Go there, play as we did against Grimsby Town and leave the fate in the hands of the U's. If they win, I'll remind @cheeky~k8 never to refer to them as Toilet Seat United (something I tend to mention quite a bit). I just hope they don't flush themselves down the loo!
@medievalmickey can we please get your thoughts on the game at the weekend?
Will your loyalty be in question?
i.e would you like to see Notts win and remain in the Football League. -

So it’s gone to the wire the last 90 minutes of our season will decide our fate. Either we going down or staying up it’s not meadow lane but we are going to need make sure the lads know we are there ... I’ve got my ticket for swindon. I said for a while Macclesfield are going to be the first team to blink well that theory is going to be tested along with our nerves. Macclesfield have the advantage going in to the lads day but we have been here before where the odds are stacked against us and come out the other side. It’s our own fault we are in this situation no one else’s .. but for 90 minutes let’s not care about that let’s get behind the lads. It’s now or never If we go down I want us to go with one hell of a fight don’t regrets nothing leave it on the pitch with no regrets. We need to play like we did against Grimsby no fear just go for it and if we do you never our luck.
No matter the result I’m going to be there and I’ll cheers the lads on ..!!
It’s time to play the game.. county better turn up .. Macclesfield you better be ready for one hell of a scrap ... Swindon you better be ready .. when you corner a lion you know happens ..!!!
This Saturday we will beat the odds we will achieve the greatest escape in history and Macclesfield will be condemned to non league football ..!!!
Cause I’m fired up I don’t know about any one else I’m ready for this let the final day fight commence.

I've often been jealous of Juventus' stylish shirts. But next season, for the first time in over a century, Juventus will not be wearing stripes, with Adidas kicking 116 years of tradition into touch in favour of this vile abomination:
Needless to say, their fans are not happy. Maybe they could buy another club's stripy shirts instead?

I know I’ll get stick for this but right now my thoughts on Ben Barclay are not polite .. he nearly cost us the Crawley match by being sent off for a professional foul.
After he was sent off the lads held on and got a deserving point out of the match.
Gaffer Neil Ardley was not impressed with the red card but this card rules him out the relegation fight.

Schofield 7 - Some good saves. Mostly comfortable due to Grimsby not bothering
Tootle 6 - Good supporting runs down the flank. First touch a bit dodgy
Stubbs 7 - Made a superb run out of defence in the first half and was on the whole, very good.
Brisley 7 - He's fine in the middle of a back three, with two defenders either side pushing up and taking the ball out of defence. Headed virtually everything away
Bird 8 - Took the ball out of defence and did so with confidence. Hopefully will become a decent ball-playing centre-half. It's his goal not a Harry Clifton (og). Give it to Pierce
Milsom 6 - Like Tootle, made supporting runs. Worked hard
Doyle 7 - Put better crosses in than before. Almost scored from a corner. Made crucial interceptions
O'Brien 7 - Ran about like he normally does and helped out when Toots and Milly got forward
Rose 8 - Has played really well in these last few games and keeps Notts ticking over. If we go down, he will be crucial in getting us back up
Hemmings 6 - Tried to win what he could in the air. A quiet game from Kane but has done terrific this season to score 13 in a poor team.
Mackail-Smith 9 - Running, running, running, running. Scored. Step inside and I'm falling in love, cos I just can't seem to get enough of, du du du du du du du, CRAIG MACKAIL-SMITH
Subs
Stead + Gomis 5 - Came on when we were in cruise control. Gomis could have had a goal.
Ardley 7 - Better display but why couldn't we do this 4 weeks ago
-
So Charlie slater tweeted that the sale of the club had taken a further step as “the DD has been completed and there could an announcement as earlier as the end of the week”
“Also if this sale doesn’t happen there are other parties Interested in purchased games the club but the South African out was leading the way.”

I thought the team looked interested today, perhaps the importance has sunk in?
It's disappointing in a way to see it expressed so late, however this is football. I'm delighted with the performance, I felt Craig Mackail-Smith and Matt Tootle was class. The team did some good football, yet I still feel this mess could have been avoided and I always did feel like Notts would win 2-1.
This type of performance should have been the standard this season.
Good win, positive from the fan's perspective and the
Kop was close. -
Very good win, solid performance and the players seemed bothered.
Why exactly did it take until the very last home game to get them performing with some passion?
-
We got the three points that’s all I care about .. not bothered how we got it but we got it. Well done lads on to the last game.
-
Fan favourite Micheal Doyle has commuted his future to Notts County even if they are relegated to non - league football.
Doyle signed in January on a 18 month deal which would see him stay at meadow lane till the end of the 19/20 season but in a recent interview Doyle confirmed that he would see his full contract out no matter the league.

So after another disappointing day at the office it’s as you were at the bottom of league two with the bottom three.
Do my question is how can Notts complete the greatest escape.?
-
These players are an absolute shambles. They are not technically good enough to stay up, most of them are not up to the standard of L2 football, and there is no way these no-hopers are going to get a couple of wins that may be required.
******* pricks. -
So this Saturday we welcome Grimsby to meadow lane in the penultimate game of the season as we try to avoid relegation who’s going to cheers Ardley’s black and white army hopefully over the finish line to safety.
-
Neal Ardley gave his pre match press conference Before tomorrow’s clash at meadow lane as the lads prepare to face MK Dons.
