  3. yes you heard it or read it correctly Notts has secured there first win for sometime at Stevenage with enfatic 3-0 win and with Macclesfield drawing with Lincoln and Colchester beating Cambridge and Newport beating Yeovil.

my question is simple is the greatest escape on can we beat the drop and remain a league side.?

  4. So what's everyones Sunday plans then. I’m aware it’s mother’s day too.

  5. Notts midfielder Jim O’Brien has spoken to the everning post and said that “Notts are not chucking it in” the magpies lie  bottom of  league two and three points adrift of safety with seven games still to play and fifteen points to play for. Notts have only collected 33 points out of a possible 117 points Jim spoke ahead of County’s cruical Away tie At Stevenage.

  7. What must be the first priorities for the new owner or owners when they take charge of Notts?

    Training ground?

    Reduce debt?

  10. So I know today’s results we have had before and people probably think I’m off my head but that’s ok I’m used it.

After today I can’t wait for next Saturday at home against my second Northampton just something about today’s results that has really made me smile and think yess it’s on the great escapes on.

I love home games cause of the family time with @Chris and @super_pie and Callum we have a great day but the momentum we have I’m hoping we can keep it.

Anyone else looking forward to next Saturdays home game against Northampton.

  11. January signing Micheal Doyle has called for Notts County to be “A little bit braver take a few more chances and be creative” and not “look back in the summer with regrets” as Notts face Exeter in a must win match at meadow Lan tomorrow.

  13. Dear Members/Visitors,

As you may have noticed recently our website has proudly opened a store which is focusing on selling quality Notts County prints.

We have a wide range already from legends, heroes and icons, to current players and artistic designs.

The prints have been received very well and the stock pile brought to cover until the New Year is moving nicely, I would just like to draw every bodies attention to the latest releases and of course all the various prints we have to offer. All single prints cost £15 and offer free UK delivery, we also offer a grouped purchase for Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler legend prints which you can snap up whilst stocks last at £25 for the pair.

All prints are A3 size, however at some point we may offer alternatives sizes.

With Christmas coming up the PON store has been stocked piled with each print to save time on the delivery, so there are a wide range of prints already available despite these being new. You must be a member to complete a purchase but all details are saved securely and with any site these days, it's just part of the way the process is handled. Orders are completed with payment via PayPal.

You do not require a PayPal account as the service allows for the fees to be paid via credit or debit cards.

To guarantee Christmas delivery all orders must be made by the 17th of December (UK deliveries).

I will offer fans overseas a chance to make a purchase, however this comes at an additional cost for the shipping and members must message me directly via [email protected] or via PM here.

It's important full names and addresses are provided, this will ensure the prints are dispatched ASAP.

Order whilst stocks last. You Pies!

  15. So the time has come come for the lads to start fighting because it maybe there jobs but it’s our passion our lane our magpies. Today is another example of things not clicking in to place. Yet again we conceive 3 goals and play awfull. With just over 10 games left they need some thing it would be a shame for this club to be none league. If nots go down it not only the players who will loose there jobs but what about the staff ticket office bar staff and the chefs and people who need the job to survive financially. Let’s not forget about loyal fans people who have been fans for 50 40 30 years and the volunteers who help Notts day to day for no wages but for the love of Notts. If they don’t find some thing they  flush the history of notts down the toilet the work of jimmy and jack, Derick Pavis even players such as Tommy Johnson Mark Draper and steve cherry and other legends that help build this football club. So this squad have a lot riding on them to survive and remain a league team so lads please I beg you find the spark find that extra burst of energy find that passion do it for the history do it for fans for the legends but most importantly do it for your selfs lads Cause right now you are letting yourselfs And us as fans down to.

  16. I have to admit I am someone who prefers a simple 4-4-2 (when it makes sense).

However, I think the formation didn't work previously because we didn't have the players who suited it. I don't understand why Neal Ardley abandoned it after signing Michael Doyle and Jim O'Brien.

Right now Notts are too defensive and majorly lacking in confidence when it comes to creating chances on goal.

Often it seems like the teams lacking the creativity to move the ball productively, I realise most fans don't seem to rate David Vaughan but I feel he would be perfect to be the distributor within the midfield along side the two biggest signings from the January window. The formation would allow for Enzio Boldewijn to either partner Kane Hemmings/Jon Stead or he could slot into the wing back positions (however here he would need to mark and get tighter).

I just feel the current formation is very flat and not one which suites the playing style, either Ardley amends his tactics or he switches the formation suite the passing style he's trying to get the squad to master.

I'm not sure many games will be won under the current method, so I can understand why some fans have given up and have accepted relegation.

  17. So the last chance to use your bring a friend voucher if you still have one is the next home game against Northampton at Meadow lane on the 6th April 2019 kick off 3pm. Simply take your voucher to the ticket info to exchange it.

  18. Game 40 - The Boro (A)

    Team: Stevenage

    Date: 30/03/19

    Where: Broadhall Way

What line-up should Neal Ardley opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

The plus is how the form under Neal Ardley has improved, it's looking somewhat optamistic now but if Macclesfield scrap any good results it will make things harder. Great result though, long due too.

Very commanding performance yesterday. Obviously an early goal really settles everyone down and the onus is on the opposition to respond, which they failed to do. By the time Stevenage woke up we were already 2 goals up. Great stuff :D

We are in with a chance. If we pick up one more point than Yeovil and Macclesfield over the next six games, we stay up and can put this nightmare behind us.

Finally something to smile about sir hopefully things will carry on looking up for us which is great. Next week is the key though mate. Fingers crossed

      I’m still smiling 28 hours later 😊😊😊

  19. Based on a mean of 5

Schofield  6.5 Well protected again, seems to be reading the game better

Toots 7 More for his first half performance, some rusty touches in the second

Stubbs 7.5 Did what he needed to do

Duffy 6.5 Forming a respectful p/ship with Stubbs

Milsom 7 Improved performance, reads the situations much better, wiser use of the ball

Rose 7 More of O'Connor role in stature and winning the ball

O'Brien 8 For opening goal and that pass for the second

Doyle 6.5 still dead balls are too vanilla but put himself about the midfield

Enzio 6.5 One player that can strike a ball...teed up by Stead for the 3rd. Defensive concentration again lapsed at times

Hemmings 7 Wish he had CMS's determination to chase lost causes. Credit for taking his chance for the second

Stead 6.5 Real battle with Cuthbert who the ref seemed to favour. Good set up for Enzio to score

  20. So Notts county play Stevenage away on Saturday in a must win if we are to survive relegation.

So today the gaffer gave his pre match press conferences ahead of the vital  Stevenage clash this weekend.

  21. So with financial uncertainty hanging around meadow lane it was unknown if Alan Hardy would be able to meet the players coachers and staff wages which was due to be paid today.

but tonight on bbc news they have confirmed that’s the wages have been paid with no short falls.

Alan Hardy has the funds to keep Notts going till at least may or the end of the season he also has the funds to pay the bill which has been demanded and has seen Alan have a court date in April.

Alan Hardy is still selling the club and trying to find a buyer to take the magpies to the next level.

  22. In the ideal world which current players would you want to see gone at the end of the season?

I am not talking about a real world situation, I'm simply asking for who you would personally like to see gone and why. One condition though, only 10 players can be released so choose wisely.

  23. So Notts head to Stevenage this weekend in a vital must win game.

So my question is can Notts get anything out of this game.?

  24. Do you think Alan Hardy will sell the club this season?
