I've added a new blog post, focussing on the culinary delights to be found at German football stadia. Also featuring an exclusive picture of Uli Hoeness' sausage. Take a look here!

Well... Its definitely been an interesting week, probably has been for all of us.

Worked monday night for 3 hours, little did I know it was the last time for maybe 3 months.

Done quite a lot of things this week. I've baked, watched a lot of things on Disney+ and YouTube. Spoke to @ARLukomski a lot due to not being able to see each other. I've even painted, not done that since school.

How has you're week been?

I know there is a weekly round up that I try to do every sunday, but I thought I'd do a separate topic on just to see how everyone is doing at the moment.

I know people who have trouble with mental health could be finding this time very difficult.

I'm doing well at the moment, I am keeping myself busy by baking, cooking some what decent meals, listening to music, writing and watching things (youtube, netflix and disney+).

Found a fun thing to do but it's so sad. I watch people out of the window and count how many times they've been out.

If anyone is struggling and wants a chat, I am always here, my handles for my social medias are in my profile.

How are you doing and what are you doing to keep busy?

Welcome to PON @CooperPie, would you be up for telling us a little bit about yourself.

You're the manager of England. You're heading to the World Cup. You have to name your 23 man squad. Only difference is you can only select players who played for England after you were born but can ONLY select ONE current player. Who you picking?

Hello @Rio Doherty, welcome to PON.

I think we might have overlooked your arrival, but I would still like to give you a warm welcome. I watched your vlog, very good young man. How did you capture such stunning and professional footage? Did you use a big camera?

Nice work with that.

can you name the best player in your opinion in every notts squad from 1990-now

have your say now. ????????

So football is grinding to a halt. The Premier League and EFL are postponed. After initially insisting on playing behind closed doors, the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 are postponed until further notice and Hannover's entire squad is in quarantine. The National League (irresponsibly IMO) is attempting to continue, but will surely bite the bullet sooner rather than later - Harrogate already can't continue.

What happens now? Surely Euro 2020 will have to be cancelled or put back a year, which I suppose would give us the opportunity to complete our fixtures in the summer, if we're over the worst by then. The alternative is very much on the table though - just cancelling the season altogether, which begs the question of what we do with promotion and relegation, or even if we bother with it at all. What happens if the situation drags on until August or later - on the one hand it feels farcical to promote teams when there are ten matches still to play, but on the other, can we really just render the season null and void? Another suggestion I've heard in Germany is promoting the teams in the automatic promotion places, but not doing relegation. That might be more acceptable to clubs, but would result in a 26-team League One.

I feel gutted about the whole thing to be honest, but all things pass, even this. The question is, what happens next?

I know, I know.... The leagues are all suspends right now. I’m thinking outside the box.

What’s the secret to the success this season?

Is it the steady ownership, Neal Ardley, recruitment, the fans, correcting last season, the standard of the league, something else, or a mixture of these?

For you, what has been the secret to the success this season?

Think back to the first football shirt you remember having. Who's the first player that comes to mind?

For me it'd be this..

I don't know about any other fans here, but this is typical for a Notts fan. There is never a straight forward season, well at least it seems. I don't mind that the season has been suspended, that's not a rant about that. I just feel we have to be one of the most luckiest clubs in the world.

Steady ownership ✔️
Manager doing well ✔️
Players happy and settled ✔️
Club doing well in the league ✔️
Team bang in form ✔️

Then along comes a virus which puts everything on hold, I bet the resident Barrow fan @chipmunx feels somewhat unlucky too.

Dear all,

I am involved in some university research that is looking at sexuality in football and I would appreciate a few minutes of your time to share your thoughts on this subject. The survey is anonymous and can be found here:

My match vlog from Notts County’s 4-0 win against Eastleigh last Saturday:

Thanks, Rio.

Its been a very boring week. I've been grabbing hours at work while we are still open.

My theory test got cancelled, which I understand, while all of this stuff is going off. Which I am gutted about because I wanted this year to be the year I want to drive.

Spent time with @ARLukomski yesterday and this morning. We had a dominoes last night, the cinni dippers are so nice, would definitely reccomend them.

Hope everyone is keeping well and safe. Thank you to any NHS workers, shop staff and lorry drivers that are reading this and keeping the country running.

How has your week been?

When given a chance to play, he's done well and has found his own form in recent weeks. It's good to see a young lad like him doing well, as he's telling Neal Ardley that he can be a first team player.

Would you give him the nod on a more regular basis?

This has been done awhile back, however, we have a lot of new members and I actually don't recall the last topic getting many responses.

Naturally some members won't have taken to playing football, however, if you played please do mention where you tended to get pushed towards playing and where you preferred.

When I first got into playing football, I wanted to be a goalkeeper.

I used to attempt to pull off all those TV camera style saves and, in games with friends I used to push myself not to concede any goals. I actually believe it was possibly my best position on a pitch, yet I couldn't take long goal kicks for the life of me. I dislocated my shoulder in year 11, having played in goal for my school's team in training and I actually didn't concede but that whole experience put me off.

When I tended to play for a team, I would be pushed at left or right back.

I wasn't the fastest player, but I could move the ball quickly and people considered me to be like Gazza in terms of skill. I loved being creative with how I took the ball around people, one of my favourite moves was replicating Gazza against Scotland in Euro 1996.

But, I could play anywhere.

Of course, I liked scoring goals and in my junior school team I had the chance to start 3 times up front and I hit the post from long distance once. In a 5-a-side contest played at Harvey Hadden I scored over 100 goals, dominantly playing in a midfield role and my schools team made the final. I got injured in the semi final, as two other lads wiped me out into a plastic divider and I picked up a concussion. Mr Smith, who did have the same nickname as Jim Smith [Bald Eagle] refused to let me play and I sat the final out.

I also liked playing in the centre of midfield, as I like being creative and I do enjoy setting the tempo with my passing.

What about you?
