This is sad news, I have a soft spot for them and several other Scottish clubs. I have high hopes that they will overcome the challenges in the Scottish leagues, which have a reputation for being brutal on teams. Nevertheless, this region boasts a rich history and has given rise to many talented young players who have developed within the club over the years.

@liampie you make it sound like you don't believe me. ????

A field where dreams become reality.

This is terrible news for Scottish football. I sincerely hope that they manage to resolve the situation because the club doesn’t deserve to fold or go bankrupt. Unfortunately, there isn’t much money in Scottish football unless you’re in the top league.

I wish Partick Thistle all the best, even though I don’t know much about their history or current situation beyond their name and badge. It’s always sad to see any club struggle and their fans don’t deserve it. I hope people will rally behind the club like we’ve seen happen before.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

It’s difficult to see teams struggling, but hopefully the issue can be corrected with careful management or a takeover. It doesn’t sound like a very happy club if six directors have resigned from their positions and fans are being asked to help with wages. I hope for their sake they resolve it.

The club is in turmoil for sure; it doesn’t sound like a happy situation for anyone involved. I think they need a homegrown player that can lift and give them hope. Someone who can become a captain, a leader, and someone to look up to. If they don’t have any players who try to get the fans to calm down or the owners to sort the mess out, it could be a worse outcome down the line.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

I wish them well; I dislike reading stories like this, but the club seems to be experiencing toxicity on both sides having read the story. The fans aren’t exactly helping the situation by driving investors away.

I don't have much to say, other than I wish them well and that they can find an investor to get behind. They won't get anywhere if they can't put their indifferences aside. That goes for board and the fans.

Patrick Thistle Football Club has had its fair share of challenges recently, and we would like to take this opportunity to express our unwavering support and encouragement. May the Jags, as they valiantly strive to overcome adversity, find strength in their endeavours, both on and off the pitch. As supporters and well-wishers of the beautiful game, we stand together with the club, its players, and devoted fans, confident that Patrick Thistle will channel their indomitable spirit en route to achieving even greater successes. From all of us here, we send the team heartfelt good luck and perseverance as they navigate through these tumultuous times.
