I know you all love speculation and rumours (especially @super_ram), well here’s another one.

Apparently Notts have offered a contract to this bloke.

This is an interesting one. The club does need a defender, but is it a wing-back or centre-back? I assume it’s a left wing-back. He doesn’t give me the impression that he’s someone expected to start regularly but will improve in his duties over time. Perhaps he’s an understudy to Adam Chicksen. Does anyone know more?

God knows, now... I'm keen to just get through all this speculation now and, just wait for official announcements.

He's only 25, not had the most interesting career so far, but perhaps he just needs a break and to be a part of a good side? I don't know, I am happy with the recruitment and accept that they know best. If it does turn out to be true, I am sure he will do alright.

Most  likely another load of journalistic cobblers.I suggest members read these stories to satisfy their curiosity and then store away in the most remote part of their memory. Or just ignore and await official announcements !!!

if you say his name with a german style accent, i think it might get some funny looks. it sounds quite bad. i bet he gets no end of people calling him it whilst he plays or taking the mickey out of his last name.

i am waiting also for the club just to announce players.

I don’t know this player, but he could be good. I doubt Notts will chase players that aren’t, so we just need to wait. They will soon start arriving. The fact that the club is taking time to bring in players so far makes me feel like we are trying to buy some of the signings we need.

His name makes me think of the tent brand ‘Vango Tents’. There’s not much activity going on right now that we know of, at least. The club is probably talking to potential signings.

He was a first team regular at Stevenage, and they're in League One next season, so prising him away from them would have been quite something. No idea if there was any truth to it, but he did sound like the kind of player we'd be interested in.

I doubt Notts was ever in for this lad; it sounds like a player who’s happy where he is but whoever started the rumour thought he might make an interesting signing. No loss to Notts; we can find better.

I don’t know; Stevenage is okay, but there’s not much to the player that I know, so it’s hard to form an opinion. Besides, he’s signed a new deal for them now.

There’s no point worrying if he’s signed for his club. We move on and as mentioned before, it’s more than likely just a rumour.
