I don’t travel to away matches these days but I wondered which ground you away travellers are most looking forward to attending and the reasons why.

Nice and friendly fans?

Great pubs nearby?

Good, pies, food etc?

Easy to get to?

The ground I am most looking forward to going to is a very traditional ground, much like ours, and the history of it is interesting. It’s sad too, with the fire that happened, but Valley Parade is where I am most looking forward to.

Most friendly? Walsall hands down.
Great pubs nearby? Tranmere Rovers.
Good food? I don’t think it exists; I don’t eat at grounds themselves. I eat before, but Newport has some good chip shops.
Stockport County is the easiest ground for me to make, what with me living in Manchester. It’s very easy to get there from the city centre.

Nice and friendly fans? Walsall, the times I have been which is 4 times. Most of them I met up with @sadlad, they're the most friendliest group. One time me and Jake was sat having drinks with their supporters, with a group of them making us feel uncomfortably like we were at home. That's how kind Walsall are IMO. Very difficult when you're shy/nervous. 😛

Great pubs nearby? Doncaster is great, it's right near a retail park and the time I went many fans set up in the pub right near it. Only a short walk to the ground and plenty of parking, I think this is where @super_pie conned me into KFC and Greggs. Also, Preston does have some nice pubs. I remember my visit there very well.

Good, pies, food etc? Doncaster again, easily.

Easy to get to? Probably Doncaster also, it was a very smooth journey last time I went.

I’m looking forward to visiting Harrogate’s ground. I love the town and have visited many times but never seen Notts play there.

I can't really have much say on League 2 grounds, only been to Mansfield, Notts and Wrexham.

The grounds I'm looking forward to, if work allows me are: Grimsby (please don't ask why, just a ground I want to do), Donny, Bradford, MK, Harrogate, Swindon (for revenge), Wimbledon, Stockport and Salford

I don’t travel to many away games, but I do cover most of the local ones.

Doncaster Rovers has nice and friendly fans. Some are a little full of themselves but mean well.

There are great pubs nearby in Mansfield. One is near the train ground and another is close to the ground.

As for food, I’m not sure because I don’t eat at grounds.

Mansfield and Doncaster are easy journeys to make.

Nice and friendly fans? Wrexham fans were great.

Great pubs nearby? Grimsby, Mansfield, MK Dons, Stockport County, Swindon, Tranmere are all great places for bars and pubs.

Good, pies, food etc? There are some nice places to eat near Bradford City's ground.

Easy to get to? I would say, Mansfield it's just a short ride.

Nice and friendly fans? In my personal experience, AFC Wimbledon has great fans. It will be nice to see them play MK Dons, who are the opposite. They’re self-entitled and believe themselves to be bigger than most more historical clubs.

Great pubs nearby? I have no idea.

Good, pies, food etc? I eat at service stations. I think it might be more costly but better all around.

Easy to get to? Mansfield is the easiest, but since I don’t drive I’ll have to nominate @liampie’s choice. :P

I’ve been to a fair amount of away games, but I’ve never directly spoken to any other clubs fans. I don’t eat at grounds; I either eat before or after. Pubs aren’t my scene. The easiest game for me is any that doesn’t take three or more hours to get there.

I'm looking forward to my away days this year. There are so many grounds to enjoy and it will be nice to have a proper atmosphere.

Nice and friendly fans? I would say Sutton or Harrogate Town fans.

Great pubs nearby? Doncaster or Bradford City are decent locations for pubs.

Good pies, food, etc.? Grimsby hands down.

Easy to get to? Mansfield.

I can’t comment on this, but I will say I never had a bad experience travelling to watch Notts. I went to Millwall, Leeds, Manchester United, Birmingham, Liverpool, Stoke, London and Chelsea. All these so-called clubs with hard firms; I found all of them to be very friendly. I’m quite tall, so that might play a part, but I used to actively speak with other clubs’ fans before a match.

I am most looking forward to playing Tranmere Rovers; Prenton Park is a gorgeous traditional football ground. It reminds me of Meadow Lane; these types of stadiums give a nostalgic feel. It’s also a Championship standard ground in my eyes. I don’t like their new badge; it’s very horrific.
