March 22, 20169 yr #4 I think it is too early for MC to put his stamp on the team. 2-1 to Pompey. Better days ahead for Notts.
March 22, 20169 yr #5 The players have to give much more than they have done in recent games, perhaps then we may stand a chance? 1-1
March 22, 20169 yr #6 With an exchange rate of 175 Albanian Leks to the £........our new consortium will be placing a cart-load on Notts to win this one. As we say in Tirana..... Mat tri herẽ, prit njẽ herẽ.

March 23, 20169 yr #9 I'm actually quite optimistic, under Fullarton - do to his inexperience, I never felt confident about getting good results (never mind performances) but away from home was always slightly different because you never know. Now we have Mark Cooper, I do believe we will be more organized. That gives me hopes going into the game against Portsmouth, however I don't think we should 'fear' any side other than ourselves because it's us holding back. Really I see this game being a draw, so 1-1 could very well be a fair reflection of the final scoreline.
March 23, 20169 yr #10 Team for Fratton... Loach Wildin, Amevor, Hollis, Milsom Snijders Thompson Aborah Noble Valencic Stead Boyce is excluded as not fit enough, Wildin is the best Right Back, time to blood him in...Amevor's been away on international duty so will have to play as he gets off the plane... Snijders and Valencic should be able to put plenty of crosses in, to create chances ( a word that was not in Jamie's vocabulary )
March 23, 20169 yr #11 Thinking about it, how many of us saw this as a battle of title contenders when the season kicked off? Both sides have underwhelmed, especially Notts. At least Pompey have a shot at promotion. Pompey are actually better away from home so there's plenty of hope for Notts in this one.
March 23, 20169 yr #12 Notts Vs Portsmouth was probably the game of the season so far for me at the Lane. I think Notts are more likely now to get a something from this game, but the main is a fresh start for the team and the fans.

I feel more excited and interested in the game, Aborah is back ladies and gentleman.
March 24, 20169 yr #14 @upthepies Luther Wildin, from the Notts Youth / Reserve team... Piethagoram thinks he is going to make it, based on the few matches I have seen him play. Agathise, at Centre Half, another player to look out for
March 24, 20169 yr #15 It would be good to see a few of the youngsters feature, especially as this season is coming to a close, give them some experience for next year Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
March 24, 20169 yr #16 We feared Portsmouth would destroy us at home but they did not. The good feel factor must keep going, so I think a draw or sneaky win would be good. The addition of Aborah will be pleasing on the eye come tomorrow night but a lot can happen between then and now.
March 24, 20169 yr #17 I've had a sneaky £10 in mixed bets for Notts to win this one......Pompey are struggling just now and they will be more nervous than us....fingers crossed
March 24, 20169 yr #18 A good performance, or at least half decent, is the only benchmark really. Any points would be a bonus. I'm going for a narrow 3-2 loss or a 2-2 draw. COYP

Though I suppose she was good on paper...
March 24, 20169 yr #20 Aborah is one 'new' face in the starting X1 but I can't imagine there will be wholesale change to the starting line up even under MC but I think , especially away from home, they will need to play an extra man in midfield to accommodate Aborah

Agathise, at Centre Half, another player to look out for I've also been impressed by Wildin in the reserve games, but was a bit unsure about throwing him in the deep end to early. However, after watching Hewitt get torn apart by a moderate Exeter side last game I'd now be inclined to give him a go. We have allowed teams to get crosses in far too easily all season, and none of the many combinations we've tried in both full back positions have worked. As soon as we are safe, I would like to see Wildin and Rhys Sharpe given an extended run in the first team with an eye on next season.
March 24, 20169 yr #23 Tomorrow is my 49th anniversary of watching Notts...my first match 25 March 1967.... stood as a wee lad on the County Road to witness a 0-1 defeat to Exeter. Stanley and an away win will do nicely. @Elite_pie Wildin has demonstrated in the Reserve games, he can prevent crosses. Hewitt and Atkinson are both not good enough...so give Luther his chance!
March 24, 20169 yr #24 Noble, Hewitt, Campbell, Loach and Murray are all in Portsmouth as reported by Campbell's twitter account, would expect them all to play some part Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk

Jeez man......sucker for punishment or what? Just kidding......actually you will have seen quite a few highs as well as lows....though at our age our memories are slightly foggy!
