Mine is a combination of my two main sporting passions, Notts County and horse racing.  The 'Elite' bit comes from a racehorse ownership group I joined back in 1994, the Elite Racing Club which has had some spectacular successes and explains my avatar.  Last year we sold a filly bred by the club for a staggering £6 million.  The 'magpie' bit is obvious, but unfortunately we've not managed the same successes just yet!  In hindsight it wasn't a particularly bright choice because many assume that the elite bit refers to me, which was never the intention.  I should probably have opted for Ordinary_pie instead!

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

My username is derived from the fact that my favourite all time Notts player is Tony Hateley, back in the day he was known as “Big Tone”  hence Fan of Big Tone, I originally had the name Tony Hateley but that seemed to cause a bit of confusion when someone accused me of pretending to be the man himself so I changed it.

Easy, knickname since I was a kid (at the height of muppets fame) and carried it on, more abreviated to "Foz" now so must be getting old!

I think I have explained this in the past but I will mention it here as it seems relevant with all the new posters.

The first part is my last name which is also the area of England that I live [yes some find this to be funny] and the last part is obvious. Most fans merge where they live with Pie and I'm no different.

I wanted to have witty username when I joined PON. I was originally going with "Kendalls Bottle" or "Warnocks Tracksuite" but neither stood out, I went through various other managers too.

Then I saw a picture of Sam Allardyce and I knew instantly that I would go with "Allardyces Tash".

I despise red dogs and Forest.

My name is pretty much to that point.

I think you and me might get on well together.

@allardyces tash you could’ve gone with “Sirrels tooth” :joker:

@Fan of Big Tone I could never use a name which poked fun at a legendary man such as Jimmy.

That’s very true, good for you.
