A while back, before the first signing I think - it was mentioned on Twitter that Stephen Henderson was being linked with Notts.

Both Henderson and Smith are very good keepers, yet I wouldn't imagine Forest would risk sending one out on loan without knowing the keeper they've signed is 100% ready for the season. If he takes a knock or struggles, it would just make the move even more difficult.

I wish people would stop typing that word that begins with F, can we have a rule that says if we must mention the other Nottingham team it has stars inserted e.g. F*r*st or call them Fword or just plain Rushcliffe Rovers.

I can't see a keeper being signed on loan, it was mentioned a trailist played in a reserve game and that would lead me to think this is nothing more than optimism.

A good backup keeper would be a sigh of relief as far as I am concerned.

I would take either of these if Notts could agree a loan deal with Forest but I don't think its all that likely.

No keeper will come in on loan now, I would just hope the club can call for an emergency loan if Fitzsimons gets injured.
