Just for fun and I know @hissingdwarf will be interested, tell us who you would vote for if an election was called tomorrow.

The Conservative party needs to go, I despise them and I have reached out to them and local Labour MP's - one party ignored my request for help. The other replied and passed on useful information.

I'm afraid I wouldn't vote for certain parties due to their track records with helping the rich but ignoring the common person.

I'd vote labour, we need the Tories out, I'm not totally happy about everything Corbyn says I think he is a bit too far to the left for me but I feel there isn't an alternative if we need the tories out of office, I am more in line with Lib/Dems I think but I can't see them forming a government any time soon.

I was tempted to say I wouldn't vote but I am then reminded that the Tories need to go.

Why people voted for them in the first place I don't know, the way they have targeted benefits, disabled people, the NHS and handled the BREXIT situation is a joke.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Good to see so far we are turning red!

Concerned with the would not vote option though. I’ll happily convince anyone on here!

in all seriousness though, I believe voting should be something that everyone takes part in, including 16-18 yr olds. Almost to the mandatory point like in places such as Oz.

If I lived in the UK I wouldn't vote, neither main parties have a proper leader and The Tories never learn do they.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

I’ve voted Labour since 1979. With Corbyn in ‘charge’ I can’t. So I’ll probably abstain, but still go to the polling station to count towards the turn out as I feel we should all vote.

Genuine question. Not going to turn it into a bashing! What is it that JC is the issue for you?

@samwatto2008 seeming as the other thread was locked? Where in Ashfield are you? I’m obviously Ashfield based and have my opinions on Gloria too!

@Fan of Big Toneagree with you. Unless Corbyn changes to supporting #PeoplesVote on Brexit, I cannot support him personally. Vote will go to LD's as both mainstream parties are either too left or too right for the good of the country

I think the pressure on JC mounts daily to move the party towards the Peoples Vote. Now the Trade Unions are backing it as well I think by the end of this month it will LP policy and that in itself will return a Labour Government.

I'm going to the conference for Labour this year and that will be the biggest challenge for it to get sorted over the course of the event.

I think LD vote share will remain stagnant as they have had their chance at the beginning of this to become a dynamic and viable alternative using Brexit as their main strap line, but for them, unfortunately having two (three if you include Clegg in the coalition) leaders who couldn't lead a marching band. has left them in the doldrums. Some say JC is the issue, but look at the wider context of where the actual party is now. The likes of Chuka U and Chris Leslie and Frank Fields being moved to the fringes to allow for the members to have a voice again.

With over 850000 members and affiliates we are a massive force and fortunately the party makes the decisions as a group, not like the Tories who dictate the policy from above. (Like we used to do in the days of Blair!)

@hissingdwarf Thank you for the Party Political broadcast. I hear what you say, but in the political first past the post system, Labour can only win by taking Tory marginal seats. By it's members and Jeremy taking the party to the "socialist" left, how can Tory minded votes change to Labour? Where unfortunately, people don't  vote with their political conscience, they vote to save tax.... So no matter, how many "reasonable leaning" people hate Mrs May, the recent polls still show her way ahead of Jezza as PM "material"

I’ll leave the PPB to the mainstream media. They do enough of a hack job. Although I see your reasoning, I think people underestimate the ground swell of socialism within the country because it isn’t radical any more.

people see the NHS on its knees, they see the train network in meltdown, the see the education system failing their children and the future generations...the list could go on and to solve those issues people will vote for a massive change!

@hissingdwarfThe NHS will be on its knees if Corbyn supports Brexit...So many EU staff will likely leave the UK, as their equal rights will in all likelihood, not be respected...where will the replacement staff come from? Social care will be decimated too. Until Corbyn wakes up, we will become like East Germany if Labour led Corbyn supports Brexit

As I said earlier, the focus on JC is totally wrong. The Bexit decision is not in his hands. It’s in the hands of conference and turm, this year will be fireworks galore. The majority want, at least, the opportunity to hold the people’s vote, never mind scrap the whole bloody thing!

Jeremy is anti EU, but is moving towards the point of realising the mass membership do not want that so in the next few months will move to a softer position.

The decision is not in his hands but he could lead the party towards remain if he wanted to.

Simple, I wouldn't vote.

People complained about Gordon Brown not being good enough to lead a party or act as the prime minister but things have gotten much poorer since.

If I could vote, I would consider Ukip.

At the moment I am not sure any of the main parties speak to me as a person, so voting would be hard but I generally agree with the messages sent out by Ukip.
