So the new gaffer has given a interview with the evening post saying he is relaxed about the January transfer window.

During the interview he said that “Notts have good players here” he also said that “when i went in to Wimbledon I had to get the January transfers correct”

With Neal feeling that “things are not desperate here and things may have to be moved round to achieve clarity in how we play.”

A very posive interview with gaffer about the transfers in my opinion.

Whats your thoughts guys and girls.

He probably has plans on who he intends to let go or alan does so he knows where he currently stands in terms of who he could possibly sign then.

We very rarely off load players now, we normally just gamble on 1 year contracts and either keep them rolling or terminate them. So it will be interesting to see who he thinks we should get rid of.

It's nice to see that someone is relaxed where Notts are concerned, he must be about the only one.

I don't think Neal Ardley should worry.

He seems to be taking the right approach and I think it speaks volumes that he sees the squad as something he can work with. There's a lot of depth and plenty of cover, the important thing is to get the team spirit and chemistry spot on.

Playing people out of position never helps anyone.

he needs to be relaxed because the players might feel they could be replaced and this additional stress is not something i think would help, i am pleased and impressed by Neal Ardley's approach.

I would happy with that but Toots needs to stay.

Hes probably got most of it planned out already, theres nothing wrong with being ready and i hope hes getting rid of duffy.

Neal Ardley seems like a very easy going and relaxed manager, a move here seems a good fit because he can just get on with his plans.

He has more experience than the recent managers and only time will tell but i think he will know who he wants to approach in regards to the jan transfer window.

TBH, I think he's just saying this to be coy about the transfer window. It takes pressure of the players and club, it should prevent speculation about players being replaced etc but it's smart.

Think he needs to see whom can be brought out of a contract if its possible, signing wise rely on frees but its all down to budgets.

I wonder if his policy will change at all after the thrashing Grimsby Town have given us today.

It shows there is much more work to be done.

January needs to come soon in terms of players.
