i think hes done well but why do we always start him when hes fit? he should have been the first off today, he won very little and his lack of pace made notts suffer.

in the first half he was amazing, by the 45 minute he seemed knackered.

I feel the same way, Lewis Alessandra looks a lost lamb. Kane Hemmings needed pace with him, so the subs seemed a little weird. I wouldn’t have taken CMS off either, he causes trouble and really gets stuck in.

Jon Stead should have gone early into the second half, someone told me he’s injured though?

I have no idea if this is true but it looked like he was tired by the 65 minute.

A field where dreams become reality.

I think hes just too old to play for the full match or even half sometimes. Hes a good player, just much older than most in the squad.

Good player, decent captain and the best out of a bad bunch.

I just feel Michael Doyle should be given the armband and for Jon Stead to sit out games, so that he can rest for key games.

Good player, just a quiet performance from him yesterday but credit for his effort. In the first half he was one of few players who tried.

I think the manager favours experienced players with the predicament we're in. Stead has been a bit off the pace for a few weeks now but we're not blessed with many alternatives. Mind you, the supply to the strikers was absolutely dire yesterday.

The front end of the squad just wasnt there yesterday, was the squad told to play defensive though? Jon stead needs a faster player by the side of him.

Stead is victim of being overplayed but the thing is when he finds form, goals tends to be not far from him. Some fans will be saying he's past it but his experience speaks volumes, I would be interested to see how much distance he covers in an average game because I think it would be far more than most.

He's due a goal, I would save him for away games personally and let him sit home matches out on the bench. Kane Hemmings is look very disinterested, Lewis Alessandra couldn't hit a barn door and only seems confident to shoot in reserve games.

So who else could start?

Ardley shouldn't make the same mistakes as Kewell, over playing people leads to injuries and a loss of form.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Neal Ardley has to look into the players fitness and maintain the better performers, I think Jon would be a loss to the squad but the odd game wouldn't harm him to sit out if he could up his overall performance in the long run.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Amazing player and bloke who gives everything he’s got for the cause. For me a true magpie, always time to talk to the fans, but on the pitch  by half time he is normally exhausted. And the second half he needs to be a poacher striker and stay up there cause that where he hurts the opponent. His age will play a factor but he gives his all I think we can forgive him that
