I know Ross Fitzsimons has had a awful season and probably could blamed in Part for the relegation. But with the release list coming shortly he may just get a second chance as his non league experience may just help him be retained for next season. if he retained would you be happy and do you think he would have a better season?

Please no! If that's the standard we can forget a quick return to the League. It doesn't take the opposition long to work out he can't handle crosses. We need a team (and especially a defence) that is better than last season's, otherwise we're going nowhere but down.

I think given the chance he might prove himself.

He looked good in his return, stepping in for Ryan Schofield's sending off. I was a bit disappointed he suddenly became injured or unwell, I feel this might be backroom politics. Perhaps the club trying to salvage his confidence, I mean he must be beating himself up - I felt he could have done better early on but the defence was very poor. I would leave him to prove himself, maybe as a backup.

The club needs to find a good goalkeeper coach like Kevin Pilkington again.

Not a fan of Fat Crossley, he's beyond useless and very rude.

i would give him the remaining season on his contract in the hope he can finally prove himself, his cv wont look good with all the goals he conceded or having played a part in the clubs relegation.

if he could just come in with some confidence that would help.

I don't think he can organise the defence, so it depends what players come in but I would wish him well. Let him go.

I think he would do better with more organisation in front of him, he had a very poor start to last season but it was a combined issue. Not just him, give him a chance.

I'm torn.

I think he was shocking for the majority of last season, he was massively out of form but then it was the clubs fault for not having a suitable backup. There was no strong number 2 and I do believe that would help. He needed some of the pressure off, so allowing him to miss games would have benefited Notts. Issue now, what happens if he can't find his form or voice? It seems a large risk.

I want him gone, he was massively at fault and one of the major reasons as to why the club ended up being relegated.

A good keeper improves the defence, he's not vocal or strong enough.

I really don't think he will be good enough for even non league. Hes not focused enough for playing.

He's not good enough and was found out so easily last season. I think he will stay for the final year of his contract, but I expect a senior keeper to come in, probably one who is 34 plus and with league experience. Rather take a keeper that is vocal and can organise their defence over a shot stopper every day of the week, one who can do both won't be in the national league.

He could be good enough, at the same time pigs might fly.

If in contract allow him a chance to redeem himself, I think the club could do better but I acknowledge not all of the goals he conceded was his fault.

I think there is most certainly better keepers out there, he struggled and I think Notts could do a lot better.

The highlights speaks volumes.
