Brilliant week this week, celebrated my 20th birthday on friday with @ARLukomski, we celebrated in Frankie and Benny's, I got a free meal which is a bonus.

I did have to do 5 days at work before my birthday, but they were good shifts, nice and easy.

I saw a cracking game of football last night, what a goal by Enzio! Feel sorry for my family as some of them are Chesterfield fans, but can't go to matches.

Just writing this on the train to Nottingham to meet up with @Chris, which I am looking forward to and having a nice catch up.

Overall, January was an alright month, not much happened really apart from a trip to Maidenhead, a birthday and a load of work shifts. Now we move onto February, lets see what happens this month.

How was your week and January as a whole?

Happy belated Birthday to you! Glad you had a good weekend.

January for me has been ok, getting back into a normal routine and trying to save abit of money.

I have had a middle ear infection for all of january and most of december so trying to sort that out.

I am hoping february is better than january but we will see, i am sort of looking forward to going to a concert this month though.

Got through this week at work. Spent the weekend with @meg_walshx. Celebrated her 20th birthday on Friday. Bought her tickets for Heathers the musical which is taking place in July. Went to Frankie & Benny's.

Match yesterday. Good win

Today, we both met up with @Chris in Nottingham. Had food and had a good time catching up

I've really got into 'Father Brown' the last few months, it's now part of my daily routine and, I don't like the thought of missing it. It's something that @cheeky~k8 and myself enjoy watching. It also gives us some together time, where we're solving a different murder (instead of Kate thinking about murdering me). ????

We went to town mid-week, then we nipped in B&M on the way back home.

Saturday I went to Notts with @Magpie callum and @super_pie, it was a bit different but I enjoyed every second of the build up.

Well, aside from fans putting the fear of god into me due to the injury issue and Ross Fitzsimons having been selected to start. The match itself was brilliant, first half even but the second very entertaining.

Today I went to meet @ARLukomski and @meg_walshx.

Due to transport issues, my bus ended up taking the mickey a bit. I walked several stops as I didn't want to stand waiting another 30 minutes for a bus. Yes, it's Sunday service but wow, my nearest route is bad. I saw two alternative buses that I could have caught but wasn't near the stop (different route).

Anywho, it was great to get out and have a different day just chatting with two good friends.

I hope they enjoyed catching up as much as I did. :)

A field where dreams become reality.

this past weeks been a nightmare for me, very difficult to cope at work with everything going on. im worried that i might not do as well in my training as i am preparing to cover the requirements for a better position.

so most of my time has been spent at work, then i get home feeling tired.

i did manage to see some family members on thursday night and notts at the weekend. today i have just been sorting stuff out at home.

It was lovely to meet up with you today, I really enjoyed it. We should do it more often.

The match is my highlight of the week, it makes a change to see Notts win a game 3-0.

Works been work, its not that demanding now.

I should get out more, it sounds like @Chris @ARLukomski @meg_walshx had the right idea. Glad to read you all enjoyed catching up, it does sound like an achivement to get the gaffer away from the site. ????

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

The weekend is the only things become interesting in my household, at least today I am in a good mood. My wife doesn't understand why... :rollonfloorlaughing:

I'm not allowed back in the house if Notts wins well. ????

Every time I think I have chance to come on here, I am given a loooooooooooong *ss assignment or work gets in the way.

I've been at Sheffield every day this week, travelling back to Uni between.

I wished I could be saying stuff like I have found time to go out drinking with friends, or partying in my apartment but that isn't what it's like for me. I am focused on graduating and progressing in work.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

I have started work again on the house, I have a company coming in tomorrow to build my barn garage.

I have upstairs in a good state now.

There's work required on the stairs and banister, I might have to get a carpenter to help with this. I would like to retain the original parts as much as I can, I don't think I am as skilled in this area as I would need to be.

At some point I might share some pictures if I can figure out how to do that.

Belated birthday to you @meg_walshx, sorry I missed that until I noticed Supers reply.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
