Since there is no football on and @DangerousSausage can't do their prediction leagues, let's play a regular Guessing game. I will post clues and all you have to do is simply guess the answer. Leader board will be added, will only accept first answer make sure it's the correct one..

First Round, Guess the player..

I am a Champions League winner.

NEVER played for my country in a major tournament

Multiple time Premier League winnner

Former Teammates include

Peter Beardsley

Jaap Stam

Brad Friedel

Get guessing.. Answer revealed tomorrow.

Really tough, but great! I've been thinking for a while, it's got to be someone obvious being a multiple premier league winner.

Dwight Yorke with the hope Trinidad and Tobago never played in the world cup!

Congratulations to @Chris and @ARLukomski for guessing correctly

The answer was Andy Cole

Surprising never played for England at a major tournament despite being a great goal scorer.

Champions League winner and Premier League winner with Manchester United.

Peter Beardsley was his team mate at Newcastle in the early 90s

Jaap Stam at Manchester United late 90s

Brad Friedel during his spell at Blackburn Rovers in early 2000s

Round 2 will be uploaded tomorrow. Maybe an easier one, keep your eyes out.

Not wanting to sound cocky, but I knew I had it. It’s the only person I felt matched it 100%.

Little fact, Andy Cole’s family used to own a chippy 5 minutes from my house.

He posed for a photo there in the 90s and did an interview with shoot about growing up in Nottingham.

@Chris i knew he grew up in Notts and had that interview but didn't realise they had a chippy. Quite possibly one of the best Nottingham born players.

His parents sold it in the mid 90s, he did a photo shoot at the Chippy for a  reeboks advert.

But, shoot did a story on the background of it.

This is a very good idea to fill the void with a good question round.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

@KB1862 I wouldn't make it too easy, otherwise everyone will have the same answers.

As I say, great idea. Keep people thinking! ;)

@AmericanPie yeah I mean even an easy one may get different answers which is why I made the point of taking first guesses only, so it makes them second guess their own thought and answer carefully. I did one at work that someone got within 2 minutes but then there were others that took 1 or 2 hours
