On Saturday 9th July Notts are playing Stoke City at Meadow Lane.

Stoke have had many famous players over the years but how many players, managers or coaches can we name that have links with Notts County?

Heres one to start you off, Dave Kevan played for Notts 1986 to 1990 making 89 appearances and scoring 3 goals, he also spent a spell as caretaker manager 2009-2010.

How many more can we name? Over to you.

Russell Hoult is the only other player that I can think of, that hasn't been mentioned already.

Anders Jacobsen came straight from Stoke City to Notts County, does anyone remember the defender? It's a name I have not heard for ages.

One name that I know played for both clubs, as I remember reading the news of when he joined on loan is Chris Iwelumo.

I have a player of Stoke City that managed Notts County, unfortunately some of our fans felt inclined to sing chants about his personal problems. R.I.P Howard Kendall.

Neil MacKenzie played for Stoke and Notts.

There's some obvious ones missing for fans 60-00s, with Dave Watson, Eric McManus, Dave Regis, Tony Scully and their most recent signing in Enda Stevens.

i was praying nobody had said him because its the only one that came to mind, despite knowing quite a few of the earlier mentioned players.

Tom Ince is the only remaining player that I can think of that has a connection Stoke/Notts.
