Just at the time I am aiming and hoping that fans will share discussions/questions, the perfect one crops up on our Facebook account. Wayne posted 'I'd like to open a discussion on what facility's could be improved at Meadow Lane'. Now, I'd like discuss it here whilst I prepare to slot it into the schedule on our social pages.

Brilliant question though, lets discuss the facility's and how they can be improved at Meadow Lane.

I know exactly how they can be improved, I'll post later on though.

Hire all new catering staff in the tea bars and lower prices within the MLSB, people should not be forced to go to the Navi for quality.

I think Meadow Lane is a well run football ground but there are certainly things which require improving, if the club could sort the food quality out it would attract more custom. I am not a fan of the food in or around the ground, I get my food from the outside catering stands.

Apart from that I cannot suggest anything else.

A monorail.

An ultrasonic system for blasting pigeon poo off seats.

One club hung massive pictures of its legends up around the ground and on the sides of the stands a year or two back - Bournemouth? I wouldn't mind seeing something like that.

Take the roof off the JS stand. Make 'em suffer for their three points.

Plant some leylandii trees on Meadow Lane to block the view of that ground in West Bridgford from the Kop.

I'd love to see standing back, but it's not going to happen at clubs like ours where we only fill 25% of the ground anyway.

I have always wished they sold programmes on the turn style, however only if you have the cash in hand. I think the TVs could be used better, last season they barely shown any images and it would be nice if they could stream the game so those who go early for food etc can see the game still.

I also think it would be cool if they sorted the kop bar end out, its always packed and there is so much that could be done with that area.

Safe standing? Always plenty to suggest but you just know the majority would be rejected based on the money available.

There's loads of room for improvements at Meadow Lane, I hope they can do something about the smell of the toilets. I am not passing a joke here! It's disgusting the way they are found upon arriving and even worst after you leave.

I try to avoid them or use the MLSB's.

The third party catering is much better but the club should strive to serve better food, its not hard. I also think its sad that the could have to compromise with fans, instead of taking the incentive to maximise their own profits by providing the best quality food.

Kop bar end. If you like chucking a semi-warm carlsberg down your neck as you've stood in the line for 15 minutes and we're about to kick off, then it's perfect. If not, it's crap.

For me there needs to be a specific young kids area within all of the stands. All kids get hungry and need the toilet at the wrong times and it is ridiculous trying to do either of these with a small child in any stand. (It's actually worse in the family stand)

On the catering front why isn't there a lunchbox option for kids for say £3.00? The same as you get in most other food outlets like M&S etc?

There needs to be a proper area that entices kids to come along to the games, like a "FITC corner" in between the Pavis & Kop stand for example, let the kids take penalties and free face paintings & badges etc, you could set up two areas so that the young kids could be separated from the older ones, the outlay would be minimal against the extra food sales and the potential to become the attraction that the kids want to come along to.

The pre and half time entertainment is terrible, but then again it always has been.

The ground could do with a general tidy up, eg clean the seats etc... touch up painting etc...

I think they have done wonders with the MLSB but I would like to see a better selection of beers available (real ale of course).

I would also like to see the return of the young fans relay race at half time, I thought that used to be great and I know it would entertain my grandson.

customer service is a big must, apart from that i could not complain even if i wanted.

If you don't mind people propping the bar whilst you try to be served, I suppose it is.

Are they Pukka pies now? I dont dare eat them but when we had the pukka packaging all over, i did. I think it was a mistake to use the local butchers who could not keep the consistency right, nice pies but hardly any filling at times.

Why drop a winning formula? it sounds like typical Notts.

No real concerns for me, I suppose the club could focus on making the MLSB a lot more commercially driven because as it stands the food options are basic and it is hard to be served on a busy match day.

No idea, I have not been to Meadow Lane for awhile now.

Have an actual alcohol bar in the Kop with a system of ordering food and drinks for half time pre - match so you can speed the system up

A tannoy system that you can hear  would be a start.

Non slip paint - or mix sand in it - on steps, as they are like ice when wet.

a one way system in the toilets where there are 2 doors. I have problems with my legs which makes this worse for me but often the queue to go in means you cant get out.

if you can sort those out I will add some more

There needs to be a better way to get served in the MLSB...the free for all is a joke and you can be waiting 15 minutes or more to even make eye contact with the bar staff..Doncaster have a queing system that works a treat and Notts should try the same. TBI or Navi for me and my mates on match days till its sorted (and believe me Notts, we sup some stuff so your missing out on plenty of cash in them tills)

Actually, it would be nice if the facilities included catering for overseas, especially the website. Perhaps offer live streaming for Non UK IPs at a fair rate?

I know other clubs do this. Just a guy in the stands with a camera, following play, doesn't have to be too complicated.

Could even put Col on over the top for commentary.

Thought i would add to this after a couple of things came to light at the Scunthorpe game.

1) In the Derek Pavis toilets there is no urinal low enough for small children to use

2) The catering is a joke, the 12 year olds employed have no clue whatsoever and nearly caused big trouble at half time

3) The stewards need to help the catering out at half time like they do for the tickets, queue people properly

4) How difficult is it to have enough hot dogs and sausage rolls available, this has never changed in all the years these have been available

Looking at the food my mates buy from Meadow Lane when they can get served it makes me glad I'm vegetarian

If they sell Pukka Pies why do they not sell the Potatoe, Cheese & Onion pies they make??!!! I'd buy one if they did
