Second team

Featured Replies

I like Aberdeen, I keep my eye out for their results but I only support Notts. I just follow them due to family connections.

I like Arsenal but I have soft spots for many teams, I wouldn’t class any as my second team now but I look out for various teams.

Derby are more my second team than anyone these days.

Derby v county will be interesting ????????????

I like Juventus, even before they invited us to open up their new ground. I have always been a fan of the Serie A, as I grew up with the whole Italia 90 and Channel 4's coverage of the league.

Nice mate juventus are a great team

When I was a kid, my "gateway" team was Manchester City... back in 2002 they were a plucky little outfit with several cult names on their books, like Peter Schmeichel, Nicolas Anelka and Kevin Keegan, and in true British style I wasn't fond of supporting the dominant side at the time, Man United, and also I liked the colour blue, so it made sense. Then as I grew up I lost affinity for them, and I warmed to Notts as they were a local team, plus I made friends who were into them (and also a lot of the d*cks at school were Forest so I couldn't possibly side with them).

Tommy Docherty's Man Utd side. First team other than Notts that I really remember well. I now don't have a second side, but still look at Utd's results because of all those years ago.

I used to like Portsmouth when they reached the Premier League, I wouldn't class myself as a fan or as a supporter but I liked them.

It's a shame their owner screwed them over.

I don't follow or support any other football teams, I do like how some do well like Bournemouth but I wouldn't class myself as a fan by any stretch of the imagination.
