Daily chat thread - Monday 20th August

Good morning PoN, it’s a cloudy start here but dry and warm. I’m up early because we are off to the coast with our eldest grandchildren, we’ve got a static van for the week. We’ve just got to pack the last things in the car then pick the kids up, I say kids but they’re teenagers now, time flies.

Thanks to everyone who engages in the daily chat thread it’s doing really well, I hope to continue whilst away but don’t forget anyone can start the thread so if you come on the forum and it isn’t there feel free to start it.

Have a great day and let us know what your day holds for you.

im about to head into today to withdraw some of my money so that i can upgrade my devices, its been awhile and its something i have wanted to do for awhile but like i mentioned before all my wages go towards buying a house which i am closer to doing now.

i have just gone through the pon posts i have not replied too.

after that i will be off for a few hours, then i aim to read some more of my book and re check pon.

Still playing catch-up with my list of things to do.

I have upgraded Football Manics so all the teams are in the right league etc, PON needs a few jobs doing. I'm also working on graphics at the moment, something I haven't had time to do for awhile.

A field where dreams become reality.

I am currently still on holiday and have been to Fig Tree Bay today in Protaras,  Cyprus. Will be chilling for the rest of the day while checking up on PON for every few hours, still continuing to recharge my batteries. Looking forward to tomorrow as will be watching Notts on IFollow with me being away.

I have work at 3pm, so I won't be around until 7pm but I have submitted my article.

There's not much going on, pleased to see the forum post count at 90 before 2:20pm. Keep it going!

Tidying up, getting stuff ready for Wednesday and currently watching Big Trouble In Little China.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

We had a good run to the coast, great static van on its own in a large garden with a pond. After we’d got unpacked and sorted we had a run into Skeggy not my preferred destination but with two teenagers it’s perfect for them. Gave them a fiver each to play on the slot machines which lasted a surprisingly long time. Then we had a walk round the pleasure park our granddaughter wanted to go on some rides with her brother but he’d only go on the ghost train but they enjoyed that.

Next stop was the beach where the built a sandcastle then went paddling and looking for crabs, two massive ice creams before coming back to the van with Morrison’s finest pizzas for tea. Later we are having a board game night.

All in all an enjoyable day.

A superb day had by all in Waterford.

Tried Virtul reality for the first time properly in the King of the Vikings tour and my god, blew everyone away. If they could get this into classrooms then teaching would be revolutionised.

Amazing 30 min film which was out of this world.

Then onto Tramore Beach. (Irelands SKEG!)

Lovely day and great weather.
