Good morning PoN, it’s a patchy cloudy start here today, the temperature is a bit lower this morning.

Not much happening here, we are off to Lidl this morning to stock up then if the weather stays fine I’ll do some more gardening, I’ve let it get into a bit of a state lately so it’s going to need doing a bit at a time as I get exhausted if I do too much.

Anyone doing anything exciting? Let us know.

Lazy day for me, doing nothing today apart from looking a the site and writing a few articles. Last day off work before I go back to work tomorrow. Been a really nice 2 weeks off to chill and recharge my batteries. So will make the most of doing nothing today. Might go swimming or gym later to get back in the swing of things with that.

I'm just trying to catch up with my duties at the moment.

No plans for the day otherwise, just to make the most of the inset day the children have before they start a new school year. Jake's wearing 17-18-year-old trousers just to fit him (but he could have had smaller plus fit ones if Asda or anywhere had them). So, it's not just Puma who have their sizing wrong.

I know Jake's tall but this is a joke.

I might update what I do if anything changes, I'm trying to get PON to 100 posts before 12pm. *Jaw drops 😮

Kids always have school uniforms too big for them at the start of school term, it's a good idea because they grow so quick, mind you he'll probably come home with holes in the knees on the first day or something if he's anything like our kids were.

Jake's a lazy bugger, there's no chance he will get dirt on him because he moves like a snail when it comes to school (he enjoys going, he has had 100% attendance for years). He's just not a very active child at times. 😛

Today i need to sort all the kids school stuff out and spend the last day off with them. I enjoy the holidays with them and its a too quiet when they go back to school.

I also plan on grouting the tiles that i put on over the weekend, if i get round to it.

We was planning on going out for the day but with the weather being not so nice, might aswell focus on the things that need to be done inside today.

@cheeky~k8 you sound just like my wife, she thinks nothing of doing DIY, in fact she’s better at it than me. I know this day and age we shouldn’t stereotype women (or men for that matter) but I think it’s great you can do tiling, well done.

Can you come and give me a quote for my bathroom? :joker:

I have to tidy the garden to day, so at some point I will get the mower out and cut the grass. The hedge needs to be cut back a little, it's not too bad but I prefer to do it one go. Also the borders have started to see grass pop up, so I will cut that by small cutters.

That will have me busy for the day.

Spending the day taking pills! Have caught some sort of virus. Cold chills and sweats through the night. It has kicked my IBS off so stomach isn't happy! Day in bed so far and expect to do the same tomorrow.

Sounds nasty @hissingdwarf hope you’re feeling better soon.

I’ve heard of Delhi Belly when people have been to India but never Irish Belly.

I'm usually the one that will get it done faster so i think its better to just do it myself. I like the outcome when its finished. I much prefer painting to tiling, but if it needs to be done its cheaper than getting someone to do it for you.
