after Hurst, an acceptable choice

That was the weirdest sports video I have ever watched...........

It was like watching a bad football version of GTA, the information was cool but the music - plus the animation seemed very Grand Theft Auto. I was expecting the Biggie ripoff or Carl to jump out of the dressing room scene. I am not disappointed, I think he should be a sensible person.

A field where dreams become reality.

Agree @Chris  my view is he’ll be a steady hand , has experience hopefully can pull the squad together and bring some order and unite the club and the fan base to fight away from trouble , coyp

I agree with @Piethagoram just behind Hurst in my ideal appointments so i am happy with this appointment and look forward to the official announcement tomorrow. I believe he is the man to take us forward. Now lets finish as high as we can and get behind the staff and team. No looking back and no excuses. COYP!

I thought it was going to be a straight choice between Kevin Nolan and Phil Brown so I'd be relieved with Neal Ardley. He at least understands that to be successful you need to build from the back, so hopefully he'd get us organised.

I think for our situation and the fact we have seen more managerial departures than anything else, I think the decision is a good one. I want to see Notts winning and safe, the brand or style of football can be worked on over time.

It's important that we have the right manager in charge,

Good decision and better than what experience the new manager was going to have.

Lets wait and see if its correct.

One of the best options from a very poor selection of managers, it's been better than recent years but still it leaves questions. I hope Neil Ardley can prove this team is capable of doing well. Promotion can be achieved but Ardley needs time, he won't bring instant success.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

I like how some fans on social media are moaning as if we could have plucked Jose Mourinho from Manchester United.

Neil Ardley making a real go of AFC Wimbledon has been impressive, we have to give him the same backing in order for him to succeed and Alan Hardy must put all his focus into the club.

Could be better, could be worse

I'm not sure how it could be much better considering all the managers that have dismissed the interest or have rejected, I feel Neil Ardley has a point to prove and if he can settle down with the squad he should do well enough.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

My source has told me it will be done by tomorrow night or Saturday.. the manager looks like it will be him ... Alan is impressed with his work at Wimbledon      My source has said the meetings have taken place at Alan’s golf course ..
