Michael Doyle, signed!

Can we now have everybodies guess as to what the starting X1 and bench will be for Saturdays match against Lincoln will be??Β

Woah. What a transfer window this has been with Doyle being that leader we craved. Credit to Alan he's definitely backed his word, more so than I expected that takes us up to... 8 new players!Β

Surely must be in for the award for the world's largest squad now, can you terminate contracts allowing players to sign for new clubs after Jan?

Surely the new boys will go straight in, we'll be looking for an instant impact. Maybe the squad as it is now would be better suited for a 4-3-1-2, with Enzio behind the strikers and in front of three scrappers in midfield.

I can see what Ardley is doing and I like it - he's filling the squad with players who are willing to fight, compete and bite our way to safety. We now have a lot of new players who need to gel pretty much immediately as we've got a mountain to climb.

Key man for me yesterday, the midfield general we've been looking for. Signed permanent apparently - but does anyone know for how long? Until the end of the season or for next season too?

By far the most optimistic signing I believe the club has made, if surviving the drop is possible I feel a team can be built around the squad we have. Just off load a few and sign quality to replace, go again from there.
