i am curious to see who thinks it could be.

Neal Ardley reveals Notts County player turned down loan exit.

Magpies chief still trying to free-up money to invest in the squad.

Neal Ardley has revealed how one of his Notts County players has refused a loan move away from Meadow Lane.

The Magpies boss had been hoping for outgoings in order to free up some money that would allow him to move in the transfer market to improve his squad with a target man and a winger.

i think its likely to be matt tootle, think most young players produced by notts would jump at the chance to play regularly as they want to kick start their careers.

I've heard things, yet most will know I don't disclose this type of matter because a) people can miss use the information or b), you look like one of these people on social media that pretends to know something that they know naff all about.

Most will be linking Matt Tootle simply because he's out of the squad.

I haven't heard any rumours about who it is, but in the article NA says “I said before we had a couple of offers for some of the younger boys. One of them didn’t want to take it up." To me that sounds like it's one of the younger players, which would rule out Tootle and possibly Fitzsimons too. Personally I'd bet on Crawford, as he spent a lot of time on loan last season and might have preferred to fight for his place this time. He also plays in a position where we have plenty of options already.
