that will get back some of the fans 😂

i always felt the video was teasing his stay, as he would have gone for a message on his own profile otherwise.

It didn't fool me, but I will say I noticed someone say that a year-deal had been signed.

I think it's unlikely that he would've put out a goodbye video message, if he had left - an article might've made itself onto the official website. A short video, I don't think its likely as @liampie says it would've been from himself.

Great engine, love's a tackle.... Perhaps IB could make a midfielder out of him???

He is a midfielder, he started as a winger. We have pushed him further back, he would be fine on the wing IMO.

A year deal gives us time to see if he can force his way more into the side, if he plays on the right or left back place he will do a job. I have no objections to seeing him play in midfield or on the wing where he's more natural.

I think if Notts doesn't get promoted this season, DKE will depart at the end of the season. He must have league clubs interested and just like other players who we fail to get the most out of he will go further in the game.

I am pleased he's signed.

I wonder where DKE will fit into IB's plans, his future might be doubtful due to the limited game time. Good player but if he can't impact with the chances he gets, it suggests it might be better if he does leave at the end of this upcoming season.

I like DKE, but unless he adapts or gets a break with a player becoming injured, it's hard to see where his game time will come. He will be wanting to be more than a backup option which is fair enough.

Rubbish tease, things like that just don't seem right when the player is trying to hide his smirk right from the beginning.

Good to have him on board for another season.

A one year deal is better than nothing, it's good the club managed to tempt him to extend his stay.

DKE is a good player, I think he will improve more next season now that IB has set his expectations. It's not a difficult change to adapt to.
