PL Financial Fair Play Rules.
they need to get stricter with the spending because the overspending is risking clubs long term future, it will be difficult to do when teams want the best players and transfer fees are overinflated. fans need to stop over spending for the short terms, even at our level and try to see how things are improving for the better. i hope man city will be the next to be fined, i think they should have further punishments for their continued floundering of it.

Temple of Sin finances and signings
its not fair that richer clubs can get away with point deductions, but at the same time this cant be used to justify other clubs overspending. none of it is right and action should be taken. unfortunately for forest, their fans wished the worst to everton and ended up with the same penalty. i have no sympathy because everyone has been acting on the other side of the trent like they have money coming off trees. even earlier in the season bbc radio nottingham suggested they had £60-80m left to spend. its all guesses clearly but they want the club to be overspending just to stay up in the premier league and thats dangerous long term.

Notts County Women Info & News
i think it was one of alan hardys better decisions, tough but correct. yes it could have been handled better but it was obvious that we needed to restart it. those players were not being paid solely by the gate receipts of the ladies game but that's a different debate. i am in all favour of the new womens team because i think they show a lot of community spirit and love notts as a whole.

Notts County: Goal Scoring Machine.
it is mad to think how easily we concede and that number should not be anywhere near to the amount we score, which shows there is something wrong. nobody can mask it and say well its unfortunate to concede that many, it clearly needs to be addressed so that we can continue to improve and if we dont well i believe we will be fine but we do need to strive for better. conceding large amounts of goals wont help us retain players, they will get poached because its the one obstacle that is holding us back.

Ice & Snow To Hit The UK.
we either tend to miss the snow, or it ends up as rain or we get covered in it. i dont mind it, i also like football games when the brighter balls are out. from a weather point of view, whatever comes we just have to get on and make the best of it.

Tennis. Brit Watch.
andy murray has gone down hill a lot with his performance, i dont follow a lot of tennis but i used to like watching murray. last time i did he was very predictable and very much outplayed.

Sven Goran-Eriksson, Cancer Diagnosis.
its not good news, but 75 is a good age and although its horrible to know that he has cancer. i hope he manages to make the most of his time with his family and friends, he should be able to see the remainder out well. very emotionally, but it can still be positive in a way.

MAGnet Links - Grimsby Town
mitch rose which is a saddening link between us and them. considering how things have ended up.

Rugby Union: Nottingham RFC
im not a big rugby fan although i thought it was interesting to see them connected with notts. whilst i think it was an excuse to blame them for our own results, they did rip our pitch up. i hope they manage to do okay with what has happened due to flooding.

PON Forum Shake Up
i think the changes bring focus on where we need to try to add more discussions, but its all very positive and is a nice overhaul of the layout.

New manager
i think this is who we are after and i think the reason its taking longer to appoint someone is because we are looking to hire someone who is currently already hired. compensation is probably the main reason reason, as i feel the reedtz will have already compiled a list of managers well before luke williams had left. if we are going outside of this, i still quite like gary rowett as i think he would do well with our squad.

Fulham Goalkeeper Luca Ashby-Hammond Joins Notts On Loan.
i think it shows that people dont feel tiernan brooks is ready enough to handle being our regular keeper, which seems a bit of a kick in the teeth. if this signing does not end up playing much, it will be disappointing. i dont feel we needed to bring in a keeper but i am glad for the competition. i just feel we should try brooks before, as i still feel sam slocombe and aidan stone are more than good enough despite the mistakes.

A trip down Memory Lane (7)
was this the season neil warnock was sacked? can any of those who were watching at the time explain why we did not give him longer? it seems he introduced a lot of upcoming talent to our squad and i know we had some great players waiting to get their chances. the first goal from phil turner? it was a lovely strike.

A trip down Memory Lane (6)
great goals from an era i wished i could have witnessed, hopefully notts can get further up the leagues so i can see them playing at this level or at least championship teams. brian kilcline gave me shades of jim o'brien with how he ran away with the ball.

A trip down Memory Lane 4
@Piethagoram i read one time when @Chris or @Joe Jones [i forget if it was before jj left] posted about this as an on this day, someone mentioned that it caused iain mcculloch to retire earlier and how he was not the same after. a few others seemed to suggest that it was done on purpose, but looking at the video it does seem accidental. some of those saying it was done on purpose suggested the keeper that fouled him was known for his aggressive play. it looked like a freak accident that should have seen the united keeper red carded.

Cedwyn Scott On The Comeback Trail
@Fozzy i like how cedwyn scott presses so much and how frequently he wins the ball back from attacking positions, he forces mistakes which seems so unnatural for a striker. i know macaulay langstaff is similar but he is more pressure in terms of kicking the ball away. these two would make a great duo which i dont think we have seen enough off since they signed for us from gateshead. i think our form away from home would improve if we had them both starting, yet again i am mindful just like matty palmer that we dont rush him back into action. i am sure he will start when ready.

A Trip Down Memory Lane (5)
lovely goal! its funny how footballers seemed to almost walk with the ball even when sprinting back then. i love the clips like this and what the youtube channel notts goals i think is uploads.

Ice Hockey. Nottingham Panthers
it strikes a bit of difference when football in turkey is suspended due to a referee being assaulted compared to this. what happened to adam johnson is very saddening and will have caused much of the results that the panthers have experienced. i dont know if they carried on or not, i am not so much into hockey but i do think they should have been given time away if they have not. with this suggesting the amount of games it makes me believe that not enough time was given. its very sad.

The Post Office Scandal...the numbers
yes, i have watched the first episode now. i think the internet has changed so much since this happened that its a lot harder for things to stay hidden if enough people kick up a fuss. with social media especially, i know some of the interviews victims have given in the news, they thank the public and itv for the drama. its just very sad to see how people who are to blame for this to happen are getting away with less repercussions.
