As Torquay have found, trying to attract players can be difficult because of the geographical location.

Does anyone know what finances Notts will get after our return to the EFL..??.... I think we get monies from the PL and TV but does anyone know what will those amount too????

Hello, I am Tommy.

I am 26 years old, I have supported Notts all my life. I currently work in Leicestershire as a night security officer for a large building site, as you can imagine I get a lot of free time between my checks and well I thought I would finally come on board with PON.

Welcome, @BlackandWhitePie. To the Pride of Nottingham, we are pleased to have you here.

How a community club can gain support away from the big teams

Perhaps wishing Stockport to be promoted, just to prove promotion from the NL to EFL 1 can be done quickly.

Welcome, @two for joy. It's good to see you have joined PON. Remember, it's one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a post, four your on a roll, 5 your a diamond, 6 you're gold. 7 is everlasting, you cannot fold.

Hello and, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @LesBradd4England. I hope you enjoy being a part of our Notts County community. It's really nice to be saying welcome to you.

Did you hear about the initiative by Notts County Cricket Club to reduce their carbon footprint at Trent Bridge? They have partnered with Event Cup Solutions to provide reusable cups for drinks instead of single-use plastic ones. They say this will save 250,000 cups from going to landfill every year. Do you support this initiative or not? Do you think Notts County Football Club should do something similar or not?

Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Magpie Bill. I hope you enjoy being a part of our Notts County community. Thanks for joining us!

Hello and welcome to PoN @Zski I hope you enjoy being a member.

After watching yesterday's game I was amazed at the power pace and skill of all the players........ Hate to say it...... But i reckon we have a long way to go before we will be able to match that..... I hope LW has a plan to get us to that level....... Sooner rather than later....

Was this who you hinted at earlier @Chris?

Influential defender Connell Rawlinson has accepted our offer of a two-year contract.

The 31-year-old is one of our longest-serving players, having joined in 2019 ahead of our first season in the National League.

His heart-on-the-sleeve approach has been evident ever since his arrival and our board of directors, together with Luke Williams, had no hesitation in offering him the opportunity to be part of the club’s next chapter.

A statement reads: “We have huge respect for Connell’s qualities, both as a player and person, and we’re delighted he’s staying with us.

"We've seen him evolve over the years and adapt brilliantly to new roles and responsibilities.

“He was a key player for us in what proved to be one of the best seasons in our recent history and has experience of League Two from his time at Port Vale, so we have every confidence he can continue to make a very positive contribution with his performances.

“Away from the field, we believe Connell’s excellent relationship with our supporters and deeply engrained understanding of the club and its culture are extremely valuable.

“Everyone could see how much our victory at Wembley meant to him and we really appreciate his passion, loyalty and commitment.”

What's everyone been doing this weekend?

It's been very busy at Skegness, very warm too. Today we went to Chapel, which dropped a bit cold due to the breeze. We've been making the most of the quieter areas so far. Plus having walks, which is something we like to do between going on the beach. :D Not bad, plenty more to be done.

Hope @Dry Nelson Ray has £20 million + available to pay????

Does @super_ram know anything about this?

Lets welcome @Bee to our site.

Hello, @Stuart McNeil. Welcome to the site. ????????

Quite a cool way to look at the season.  Things I'd forgotten - Wrexham's slow start, York's collapse, Southend's up and down year (they should challenge next year), Oldham's recovery from an awful first half.
