Does anyone else think Notts having a museum would be a great thing? Or perhaps safely kept around the inside of the Pavis Stand?

Here's the link to the article - Here

He sounds a much change person since he has arrived at meadow lane, his english has improved a lot. I think, at least I, I believe so.Β

I will put the rest of the photos and spell check it tomorrow as I've written it while listening to the painful thing called the Notts Commentary!

From Scunthorpe to Colchester, any of these 8 teams could still go down. Here's the fixtures for next Saturday:

Β

Coventry vs Crewe. Neither side is safe. Coventry need at least 1 more point so they will be going for it. I don't see Crewe getting anything from the game. 2-1.

Β

Fleetwood vs Colchester. Fleetwood have nothing to play for. Colchester need a win, I don't see them getting it. 1-1.

Β

Leyton Orient vs Sheffield Utd. Sheffield Utd will want to finish 5th so I can see them going for it here. Leyton Orient were one of the favourites for promotion at the start of the season. A draw me thinks. 1-1.

Β

Notts County vs Doncaster. Donny are gone on their holidays already. Home win. 1-0.

Β

Peterborough vs Crawley. Posh have nothing to play for but who knows which Posh turn up. I think it will be bad Posh. 1-2.

Β

Scunthorpe vs Gillingham. Scunthorpe are almost safe, but Gillingham will show up even though they have nothing to play for. Still think the Irons will prevail. 2-1.

Β

Yeovil vs Port Vale. Yeovil are actually playing better since they were relegated and I think they will continue that trend here. 2-1.

Β

So by my reckoning, Notts will be out of the relegation zone going into the last game.

I thought it was interesting what Jimmy Spencer said after the match, he said he was 100% certain we would get two wins and stay up, no shadow of doubt. (Not sure about that Jimmy!)

More interestingly he said it wasn't nice in the dressing room, people were throwing bottles about and arguing and it shows they care.

What do you think about this is it good they are arguing amongst themselves? Or does it show dis-unity.

It looks like our owners landed himself in a spot of trouble water, £600 is hardly much to a man of his standard.

What do you make of this?Β http://www.lincolnshireecho.co.uk/Ex-Lincoln-City-board-member-Ray-Trew-fined-600/story-26325560-detail/story.html

I was going to start a thread on League Two, but scrubbed it. We'll have plenty of time to think about that when/if the time comes. We have three more matches, the next two at home. Time to roar on the boys, in the hope we can muster enough points to limp over the line.

Β

I've found a good calculator for predicting the remaining games - http://www.thefishy.co.uk/calculator1.phpΒ - give it a go, and be honest. Will we stay up? How many points will be enough?

Β

I had my optimistic hat on, predicting two draws in the next two games and a final day win at Gillingham, but with my prediction even 52 points has us on our way to Exeter :(

I am Andy, life long Notts fan.

My lad has also joined the site, he's @NCRichie. We have finally joined on the recommendation of Joe :)

Hi all. Just a quick hello to start off with.

Great holiday in Ireland. One of the best in fact. Will do a full report later in the week and post a few pics.Β

Glad to see the magpies are doing well in my absence. Not.

Β

Absolutely knackered though as driving from West coast of Ireland through the day to ferry, then Holyhead to Nottm is tiring to say the least!

Β

When I'm fully with it i'll update all.

Β

Nice to be back and hope all is well with everyone.

Our game in hand. Both sides desperate for the points for different reasons. We drew up there earlier in the season. They haven't closed out their last 2 games despite being the better side so we have hope.

1-2 I reckon. Can't see us getting anything. They are a much better side.

Hello,

Big pop punk fan here as the username probably suggests, I also attend the majority of Notts home games. I'm looking forward to sharing my opinion and discussing matters. :)

Its almost the end of this season, its looks like we may have another nervous last game to decide our fate. My question is what do you do out of season?

Kevin-Grealish-in-Jack-Grealishs-Aston-V

Aston Villa: Jack Grealish's dad wore son's Wembley shirt to do the school run!

Jack GrealishÒ€ℒs proud dad Kevin wore the Aston Villa wingerÒ€ℒs Wembley shirt to do the school run!

Grealish senior has been kitted out in the match-worn replica shirt all day today following VillaÒ€ℒs FA Cup semi-final victory over Liverpool.

He even bumped into Premier League referee Andre Marriner, believed to be a Villa fan, in the gym while he was wearing JackÒ€ℒs shirt. Kevin revealed that he wanted to wear the 19-year-oldÒ€ℒs top around Solihull to display his pride, before he gets the shirt framed.

He put it on this morning and wore it while he dropped JackÒ€ℒs sisters Kiera, 13, and Holly, 11, off at school.

I have to say when I noticed Kevin's post about this, I smiled and said out loud 'I'd do the same thing'. What a fantastic relationship they have, I realize some will go on about 'showing off' but Kevin isn't like that. It's just good fun, combined with a little bit of banter. I would loved to have seen the baggies reaction or Brummy fans!! Haha

I have been busy with sending out exports that I have neglected my time on PON, Its been awhile but when I checked for updates recently it has been very quiet, very, very quiet in fact. I am pleased to see things returning back to how it should be!

Good stuff people and @notts-joe!

So what music do you all like?

@Super_Danny_Allsopp I noticed your pop punk comment, what bands do you like?

After missing the launch last week I popped to game and got myself a copy of GTA V for my laptop.

7 Discs to install and 60gb updates! wow.

Still installing now as I only started awhile ago, so I will have to reserve judgement, but looks superb from what i've seen so far.

Hope so as I tuck to my rule that if it's genuinely innovative or rewarding then I buy the original game. Normally I do this after downloading it first, but this time took the plunge straight away as I thought Rockstar deserved it for their efforts over the years. See I am an honest downloader!

Β

Will give thoughts and reviews after the weekend when I've had a few hours on it!

Β

If it all goes pear shaped tomorrow night I might end up playing that with Uncle Col muted in he background!!!

Β

I dare you to be unimpressed!

Great music to this video btw. Anyone know what or who it is?

Welcome @28111862 @JimmysIncredible,

Thanks for taking the time to join us, two very interesting usernames. Care to tell us a little bit about yourself? I hope you both enjoy your time on here.

I saw Weymouth Pie posted a link to the song Enola Gay by OMD. It got me thinking, I love Synth Pop, easily my favourite music genre.

Here's one of the pioneering synth pop songs:

Anyone here have any favourites?

Notts County Youth team completed their season with a 1-1 draw at home against local rivals Mansfield Town.

Β

With a view to preparing for next season the Notts team was made up largely of 15 and 16 year olds a number of whom have only recently been awarded scholarships with the club for the next two seasons.Β  A win could have lifted the Pies to a fourth place finish but the draw means they will end the season in sixth place.Β  A slightly disappointing final position but a team who had to manage on too many occasions without the presence of top scorer Colby Bishop due to first team calls earlier in the season and a fairly serious injury in March meaning he missed the last half a dozen games of the season.

Β

Notts took the lead in only the second minute when left sided midfielder Yohan Rutty-Smith smashed the ball high into the Mansfield goal from about 15 yards.Β  The Stags equaliser came on twenty minutes whenΒ a Mansfield forward, freed with a fine ball through the middle, lobbed the advancingΒ keeper.

Β

For any older fans, the Notts team today contained the son of Pedro Richards and the nephew of Lloyd Richards.

Β

Overall it was a good performance for a side that must have been, by some distance, the youngest youth team put out by Notts this season.Β

I sit next to @magpiejue at the match and she has a fit when Notts score and I get my phone out to text my son to tell him. She is superstitious that the opposition will score because I have sent a text. I totally ignore her and carry on because I'm not superstitious about that and if we concede a goal it will be a complete coincidence and not my fault. Would this bother you if you were unlucky enough to sit near me?

Are you superstitious? What form does it take? Tell us your story.

Perhaps @magpiejue will come on and tell us her side of the story and why she thinks me texting could possibly effect the outcome of the game. :joker:

This Saturday's Fixtures:

Charlton Athletic v Leeds United

Wigan Athletic v Brighton & Hove Albion

Barnsley v Peterborough United

Sheffield United v Bradford City

Luton Town v Hartepool United

Tranmere Rovers v Oxford United

Forget all that have gone before, this is a real 6 pointer.

Β

We beat them 5-3 at home in October to move into 6th place in the table with a total of 20 points. 6 points ahead of Creepy Crawley. Since them we have picked up a grand total of 27 points from 30 points. Staggering ineptitude is how I'd describe it.

Β

We have only played Crawley 6 times and other than the above game, there haven't been too many goals. Our record at Crawley is 1 draw and 1 loss. We have yet to score there.

Β

Notts did play better last night but the attack is an issue. Creepy have massive problems at the back. They have 1 fit central defender, although they are hoping to have 2 fit this weekend. We should be looking to exploit their defensive frailties.

Β

I have this feeling that Creepy will sneak a win. They are a tough side to beat on home turf. McLeod is a real handful.

Β

2-1 to Creepy. Gary Thompson.

Lead me to believe we have the most potential in a manager for many, many years. I said originally it was a great idea and I hope RM will prove me right. I love his philosophy and the forward thinking. Can't wait to see the results he achieves, even with this lot.

Next season, regardless of relegation or not, will be very exciting at Meadow Lane. Of that I'm sure.

Well done Ray for sticking your neck out.
