Yes, i was about 10 years old and very influential. I must admit he was my hero, above Hulk Hogan.

I stopped watching WWF when was 11, got bored and was allowed to go in the JS for the first time. Then i became the Ultimate Notts fan

I just thought I'd share a new computer game with those that enjoy playing games. I'm sure Joe, you said previously you enjoy simulation/startegy games.

It is called Banished and its a town builder. It is what Simcity has always wanted to be!

Cant recommend it highly enough. Its is made by a one man firm, but it has kept me sane in the past few days. Well worth the ร‚ยฃ15 to buy. Highly addictive and really deep. Good job really as I'm bed ridden for the next two weeks!

Check it out.

There's not many I feel are worth paying full amount for nowadays and yes I am pushing it, because its nice to see somebody striking out on their own and not just sitting in the offices of a firm like EA and taking the wages.

ย

Anyway, anyone who does play it, give me some tips as I've played it for the past two days and am still rubbish!

ย

Plus as you may have noticed the table the wife purchased for me makes it alot easier to post on here now :)ย  :)ย  :)

One month youth loan.

ย

The England Under 18 midfielder played seven times for the Blues last campaign and is highly thought of at St Andrews.

ย

His calming influence on the ball, his determination in the tackle and excellent passing range will be an asset amongst the ranks.

ย

He made his first full league start in January against Yeovil Town and his display in the middle of the park was rewarded with the man of the match.ย

ย

Shortly after Brown penned his first professional contract for City, a club he joined when he was ten years old.ย

ย

Brown will go straight into the squad to face Bristol City on Sunday. Look out for reaction on Magpie Player later this week.

A little bit of pace we were missing me thinks???

The deal see's the pair join Boston United on a months loan, they're set to go straight into the squad to face Dereham Town in the FA Cup tomorrow after being granted permission to play by their parent club.

Thoughts?

The website that I posted awhile back has made a new set of stats for this season (which was posted on 12th September 2014)

Our position on defense looks spot on! Competent buy busy, haha.

Yesterday I went to Santa Pod with @super_pie, a Notts friend drove us along with his partner. Here are some pictures! I'm not that big on cars but this was fantastic!

I'm really pleased to a friend join us, @ thanks for taking the time to join us. Please do leave a short intro when you get chance :) No doubt you will receive a warm welcome by the regulars, you will find PoN useful I hope. If you need any help with anything, please do ask me.

This is the game I saw ending as a draw, however I think it's more important we get the result and 3 points now. If the formation is the same, with little attacking I can see more fans becoming rest less.

Oldham aren't a side to fear, however they have a former magpie loanee and he's scoring!

6 from 5 games, quite impressive. I'd like to see a few changes, nothing major but it would be nice to see some more pace injected into the side. The score will be quite close I think, perhaps 2-1... I do feel we can do enough to warrant and take the lead, it will be an hard working game.

Thoughts?

Saturday's fixtures:
Millwall v Nottingham Forest

Sheffield Wednesday v Reading

Rochdale v Coventry City

Swindon Town v Sheffield United

Bury v Burton Albion

Portsmouth v Wycombe Wanderers

Sadly, we didn't get to go over to Sweden to meet the Swedish Magpies, however they did come and visit us this weekend!

I've finally had the pleasure of meeting @Northants Pie, I have to be honest I wondered who it was! Usually it's me on the look for people I recognize but tonight Northants noticed me.

It's a shame Super wasn't with me, I am sure he'd have liked to say hello too.

Hope you enjoyed the game buddy, don't be a stranger. Cheers for saying hello!

Ps. @Cobby was the camera man ;)

On Curtis Thomson giving away another goal, to add to his collection of 3 up to yet.

This person was talking to about 4 of us in the MLSB, after the game on Saturday. He told us what Jimmy would do with half the squad, and they wouldn't be anywhere near meadow lane. We said that the 70's team would wipe the floor with this team. He reckons we are in for a relegation battle, we begged to differ on that point, he said you wait and see. Told us about Jimmy and how he managed the team and other staff. It was his club and ran it with an Iron fist. Makes Clough an Angel in comparison.

This Tuesday's fixtures:
Brentford v Norwich City

Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic

Gillingham v Peterborough United

Preston North End v Chesterfield

Cheltenham Town v Southend United

Oxford United v Accrington Stanley

Does our latest signing indicate that we are going 3-5-2, i think that could well be the case

Travelled up from Gt. Yarmouth picked my mate uo from Norwich for the game v Orient. Got back a 2.30am. And Notts put on a display like they did, many more displays like that and the fans will turn on Derry or judt not turn up at all.

As I'm in Yarmouth, I arranged a few games ago to go see someone I've known a while. He lives in Norwich, & goes to all Saturdays home games. So looking forward to meeting up.

This will be an interesting game if the rumours flying around hold any truth. I personally always expect Orient to struggle after the amazing season they had last year, so I think the clubs being harsh on Russell Slade (if it is true).

I don't expect them to come here allowing us to push them over.

They still have several very good players and they play as a team (with a mutual understanding). I do feel that with us being at home we have the advantage. That said, I think the result will be narrow and I don't expect an high scoring game. It should be open and end to end, so with that in mind I will say 1-0 to Notts.

How do you all feel about the situation at Orient? (especially as an ex Notts Manager).

What are your general thoughts on the game? Do you think we will win?

Over the past couple of years (pretty much since Kasper) Jake's (@Super_Pie) favourite players consistently been a goalkeeper. He was obsessed with Kasper, when Stuart Nelson was around Jake would always wave to him before games and then we had Bart (who Jake had numours pictures and chats with).

However, he's not the biggest fan of Roy Carroll!

Until......
10687209_10153437920220961_2947056092609

After having this picture Jake asked me if he was the keeper who "kicked out" and "shouted at the players". I responded saying yes, he respond "He isn't really all that angry in person dad, I like him now".... LMAO

big local game coming up soon, i will be supporting @super_ram and his lot.

i think the game will be close but derby will edge them. 2-1
