Since starting PoN I've grown this obsession of spotting fans and anything generally NCFC related. Yet, I've started to see more vehicles with license plates, nice logo imprinted on the windows, scarfs etc.

I spotted this van last Sunday (I cut the registration off due to annoying the owner).

Today, I received a message from a fan from Australia.

And of course, I spotted this (not my picture) of our very own @jurgenpie's car.... I wonder if he plans anything for his motorbike?? ;)

My question is - Is there anyone reading this with similar? A car/van etc with Notts somehow incorporated? Perhaps, a house, window, garage @vicki ;) or something else??

Come on share with us! Let us know... You Pies!

Well I like to think so.

They complain about being 'blacked out' by Nottingham Forest, yet if you frequently visit their site. You find this to be very common, I don't like it because if I was interested in the team ignoring them - I would check that section.

Seems silly that they do this, also very disrespectful.

Do they think Notts will actually read? (I'm sure some do)

Welcome to Pride of Nottingham @Spie, nice to see another new member join us today.

Hopefully once you settle and find your feet, you will feel at home. See you around the community! :)

Sorry to intrude on your forum. I am not a Notts County supporter - I support Reading for my pains. I'm researching a former Reading FC player called Alf West who played one season for Reading in 1909 -10 between two spells with Liverpool. He left Liverpool and joined the Magpies in 1911and he was still a player with you on the outbreak of WW1. I am trying to find information on his military career (particularly the regiment and battalion in which he served)Β - but with such a common name it is not straightforward. So to cut a few corners I was just wondering whether any of the Notts County faithful might have some information that they would be willing to share with me.

Many thanks in advance.

PS I have been to Meadow Lane (in 2011)Β on the way to completing the 92

Anyone playing Football Manager?

I'm still playing fm 12, despite having the latest version. (I don't play until the bugs are ironed out) I did start a short version of the new game, which was the youths breaking through and making the team a success and I very much like the direction. I noticed the missing attribute indicator which I will miss.

The version of fm 12, that I am currently playing, I manage West Brom and have taken them back into the Premier League. I have the lower leagues up to the 10th tier and always start with a club lower down, as I prefer to challenge myself. I started off managing Alfreton Town, Mansfield and moved onto Braintree Town, managing them through back to back promotions. My earlier appoints in the game failed down to re-building the team. (I basically buy youths)

My West Brom team is enjoying a successful stint within the league, where my team are easily capable side of finishing within the top 8.

Just wondering how others who play the game are doing, etc. Share your story! :)

Here's a link to the Cov CityΒ petition to help them get their club back. I hope you'll all sign it who are UK residents. Thought their fans put on a good show today.

What swayed it for you, please say why you voted for your M.O.M.

For me it's between Spencer or Freeman.

Former Huddersfield Striker Jimmy spencer has signed on a permanent deal for the rest of the season.

It's quite clear with our current players we struggle in games with one lone striker, It's a formation I find frustrating. I personally would try to figure out tactics which would allow a basic 4-4-2 system work.

What about you? Do you think we should stick or would you change?

Notts County vs Coventry City this very Saturday, will you be in attendance?

Let PoN know..

I was browsing Yahoo news, as I came across a shocking image it caught my attention. It was regarding Jackie Stallone, mother of action movie star Sylvester.

Jackie Stallone looks almost unrecognisable as she shows off the effects of her numerous plastic surgeries

She recently admitted that she regretted having so much plastic surgery on her face, despite still having procedures done.

It's her choice, as it is anyone's but the majority of people have no reason beyond trying to keep forever looking young. I find it very saddening but I just don't get why. Why do people do it? Is there any real need?

With us having smallish strikers, hope we change our play accordingly, and not keep punting high balls into the box thinking Enoch is in there.

Wanted to go to game Saturday. But I have been advised not to by dr. If I get a cold it could start the virus I'm getting over. So it's the DAB radio for me. GGGGRRRRRRR😠😠😠

Newcastle United will not replace Joe Kinnear this season

<!--url{0}-->Newcastle United will not replace Joe Kinnear this season, after he resigned as the club's director of football on Monday night.

The 67-year-old was handed a three-year contract in a controversial appointment by Magpies owner Mike Ashley last summer - and was tasked with identifying new playing talent for manager Alan Pardew.

However, Kinnear has quit for unspecified reasons after less than eight months in the job.

There will be no new appointment in the short term although there is speculation that former managing director Derek Llambias could return to St James' Park.

Shay Given says the appointment of Joe Kinnear was always a strange one

Llambias, who had previously conducted transfer business, left the club within days of Kinnear's arrival but he is reportedly back on good terms with Ashley.

There was only one addition to Newcastle's senior squad after Kinnear was appointed last summer, a loan deal bringing striker Loic Remy to the club from Queens Park Rangers.

The only permanent addition he engineered during his return to the north-east turned out to be teenage prospect Olivier Kemen from Metz.

January's transfer window proved just as frustrating for Newcastle fans waiting to see their squad boosted, with just one player joining - striker Luuk de Jong from Borussia Monchengladbach, again on loan.

There was also one huge void left to fill, with the club allowing influential midfielder Yohan Cabaye to join Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around £20m.

They were interested in signing Lyon's Clement Grenier and Montpellier's Remy Cabella but neither deal was ever consummated.

Worse would follow in their first fixture after the window closed when they were thrashed 3-0 by fierce rivals Sunderland at St James' Park, with Kinnear and Ashley nowhere to be seen as Pardew bore the brunt of a furious backlash.

Former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer has expressed dismay at the way the club is conducting itself off the field after Kinnear's resignation.

"Maybe it's Newcastle's way of trying to say that the performance on Saturday wasn't good enough and why they didn't get any new players in, maybe that's one of the reasons."

Alan Shearer

"That's life at Newcastle United," he said.

"I shouldn't say I'm surprised but I was surprised in the first place when he was announced director, particularly the way the news was broken when Joe himself announced it on the radio when he got some of the players' names wrong.

"What has he been there now, about seven months? And two players have come in, albeit both players on loan.

"Maybe it's Newcastle's way of trying to say that the performance on Saturday wasn't good enough and why they didn't get any new players in, maybe that's one of the reasons.

"But they can only get players in if there's one man prepared to sign a chequebook."

He doesn't look well, I know that he suffers from health concerns but he looks like someone slowly fading. It's a shame but at least he can take care of himself, I was surprised when he returned to management and perhaps now he can just relax.

I can't say I am with regards to this decision.

Nice to welcome @Bramerton Magpie.I hope you join in posting and enjoy your time with us

MIAMI -- David Beckham has exercised his option to purchase a Major League Soccer expansion team in Miami, and the deal will be finalized when the former England captain can secure a financing plan and location for a new stadium.

I heard about this on the radio, I was supposed but can't see why he would do this. Perhaps his love of football, tho he will need to invest if he wants to gain from it (which I doubt).

Good for the MLS, thoughts?

Since the real Tony Hateley has sadly passed away I am feeling a bit uncomfortable with my username. The reason I chose it was because he was my all time favourite player. I wondered what you good folk thought, is it in bad taste to use his name now?

Β

If I do change I thought as most folk know me as Tony I would probably just use that as my username.
