New shirt

Featured Replies

The away kit looks cool. I think it’s really nice and has a good style to it. It’s something different, and I like that. I thought they might use yellow, not white. But I get why they changed it. It’s fun when teams try out new looks.

It’s not bad, really. I might start to like it more over time. It’s got a bit of a different look. I’m not saying I hate green football shirts, I just don’t always think they look great. But in the photos, this one seems alright.

I reckon it’ll look better when I see it for real. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the home shirt is a good one.

It’s not really my style, but it does look good on Platt and Bedeau. I reckon lots of fans will like it. I’m not really into wearing shirts unless they’re the classic black and white. That’s more my thing.

These days, I tend to wear the older shirts. Even if I get one from the new season, I don’t always wear it straight away. The club hasn’t made any bad shirts to be fair. They’re just not always what I go for.

It looks really nice, and it’s got proper Nottingham colours too. Even though it’s not something I’d buy for myself, I can imagine loads of fans getting one. It should be a big hit on away days, with people wanting to show their support.

Notts have been bringing out some great kits over the years, and they’ve done well with changing things up for the away shirts. It’s good to see something different each season, and I think they’ve made smart choices with the designs.

I’d really love to see them go with a yellow kit again. It’s been ages since we had one, and it would be brilliant to see it make a comeback. Hopefully it happens while I’m still around to enjoy it.

I’m excited to see what they’ve done with the home shirt. Just hoping I’ve not jinxed it by saying that. Fingers crossed it’s another good one.

I like the away shirt, I can imagine it’ll go down well. I still keep wearing the shirt my boys bought me for my 50th birthday it’s got sentimental value to me.

I like it. Then again us Irish like most Green things! I might get it. I have the 150th anniversary shirt. It has the supporters names on it. Some of them are no longer with us so it has sentimental value. It's like they are there when I wear it.

I think it's a decent effort! It's definitely better than that plain orange shirt from the other season. That one wasn’t the best design and didn’t have much about it. I’m happy with green shirts, to be honest. It feels very Nottinghamshire, and I’ll be keeping an eye out to grab one in my size once they’re available.

From what I’ve seen, most fans seem to like it. There haven’t been many negative comments, which is always a good sign. Sure, it won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I reckon it’s a strong shirt overall.

It's better than last season's away shirt but a plain orange shirt with a logo on it did set the bar pretty low. I quite like the pattern, it's something at least. I don't mind the colour, I just hope it doesn't start to blend in with the grass! Given the socks have the yellow it would've been good if we were able to weave that into the shirt more, I think that would've added to the design.

No idea when the Puma deal ends but it would be nice to be have a kit deal that gives us a touch more freedom to be creative than seemingly bound by pre-made designs.

I do like the design, but it's not really something I'd wear myself. I think it will be quite popular though, and most of the comments I've seen on social media have been positive.

The white part might have looked better in a golden yellow. It doesn’t quite feel like Notts, but I get that it's based on Nottingham University, so that makes some sense.

I loved this shirt because it is a very Nottinghamshire-looking kit; although simple, it holds a place of importance for me as a reminder of our first season outside the English Football League.

I think the new away shirt is excellent; I like the pattern, but I am not so keen on the white trimmings. Yellow would have been much nicer in my opinion, but I fully understand the need to make shirts different. I really hope one day we return to a nice yellow away kit; if done in good taste, it can look very nice.

I like the shirt, but I’m someone who prefers the classic home colours. Even so, the green does look sharp on the players, and I reckon it’ll go down well with fans. The club’s done a good job bringing out something with a bit more flair. It’s nice to see them try something a little different rather than just sticking with plain designs.

I'll revive this very old thread once again. Where is the home kit? It's less than two weeks before the season starts and we haven't even seen a teaser. The away shirt has grown on me, but I'm not buying it without seeing what the home shirt looks like first.

Why does this take so long every season? Even other clubs that are with Puma unveiled theirs a month or so back.

We have seen teasers, check out the posts with a white background, thinner black than expected but thicker than the promotion White kit

The backgrounds they're using on social media look like that, but I haven't seen the actual shirt unless I'm missing something. Maybe I'm getting demanding in my old age, but I'm coming over soon and it would have been nice to have one.

I don't think it's demanding when most clubs release their shirts months in advance of the new season. I've never known us be 2 weeks away from the start of the season and not have a home shirt out.

There's clearly a problem but this isn't the first time either. All our kit releases have been slow and then when it comes to re-ordering we have to wait months and months before some sizes are back in stock.

I'd have no issue if Notts had a bit of dig at Puma in public. What's the worst they can do, end our contract early? Wouldn't be a bad thing...

Notts announces it late because they don’t buy enough to meet the demand from our fans. They know it will sell out early, and people will want more.

This makes it easier for them to bring more in around Christmas or later. Expect the announcement near the final friendly.

I’d rather not believe it but it does all fit! Considering the praise that is continually given to the Notts support, the management/ownership still treat us with a complete lack of respect.

Not enough shirts to satisfy demand. Too late to allow fans to wear the shirt at the start of the season, expectation that we’ll all sign up for one without even seeing it, etc. etc. It really wouldn’t be difficult - just occasionally - to show some consideration for the people who provide 100% of the clubs operating income

David James Estate Agents, run by a family of Notts fans, have been confirmed as new sponsor for this season's shirt.

And this bit from the article on the official site has filled me with hope about the kit; “We’ve adapted our logo to ensure it complements the shirt – it was really important to us that it didn’t spoil the design – and it’s going to be a very proud moment for us to see the players wearing it."

All we be revealed tomorrow at 10am!
