Arnold town ( on wednesday)

So how do you think Moniz will go about on our first pre season friendly? I know there will be quite a few trialists and it is our first chance to see the new play all be it against lesser opposition.

Let's just hope he doesn't play Spencer

I think we will see him experiment with formations, so I expect to hear about Notts being robust trying out various players. Its important we move the ball around faster this time, that's one of the things which allowed them to be so physical but the important part is just remembering it's a friendly. Hopefully there's no bad blood or issues this time around.

Fingers crossed Moniz will give us a glimpse at some of the new wingers too.

Keep Spencer on the bench IMO.

A field where dreams become reality.

Play it safe, use it to test the players who Moniz feels may play less of apart in the upcoming season. Once the game is warn down, throw on some if the better players to tear them apart.

4-3-3 anyone?

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Hell.... unleash the hounds of fury... have at em... yes it is only Arnold (no offence) but throw the rest of league two a shot across the bows... we aim to make this league ours

Its just a friendly, treat it as a knock about and nothing more. If we take it too seriously, could we blame them for doing it? The injury to Spencer should never have happened but it did, lets not hold grudges.

Its not really important at the end of the day, a good run out for whoever is entrusted to play but I do hope the club has ensured it is a friendly.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Why not just for the hell of it play 5 upfront and 2 at the back ;)

Each player will get around 45 minutes @RayTrew has said, looks more trial based.

I am hearing very positive things from the 2nd half team, how they knocked the ball around and literally piled the pressure on Arnold which is fantastic. I assume the first squad is believed to be what our first team may look like, bar the trialists but it shows that we have depth.

Yes, it's a little early to start writing rave reviews but it is very promising.

Very much looking forward to making my first friendly. COYP!

Just watched the 10 mins highlights on MP. All positive stuff. First half team, in particular Jenner/Stead/Spencer, seemed a little bit rusty in front of goal. Understandable, first game back.
